Overpaid for a very boring experience at the property.
Pros:

The room was spacious for a japanese hotel.

Cons:

This hotel had no amenities. Just a check in counter with powdered coffee, tea bags, toothbrushes or robes if you wanted to take them. It was clean and efficient, but we felt the hotel lacked a lot for the amount we paid. The value just wasn't there for the amount we were charged. The beds in the family suite were large, but thin futon mattresses on hard plank beds made them very uncomfortable. The couch space was nice in the family room.

Clean, great amenities and the room was a good size compared to others in Japan. We loved having a kitchenette as well. Staff were very friendly and spoke good English. Washing machine in our floor which was also extremely convenient

Perfect location, cozy neighbourhood. Very comfortable ‘home away from home’ in Kyoto for us.
Pros:

Cozy & wabi-sabi decoration. Spacious room with so much counter/ table top space.

Cons:

Minor issue - carpet in room ‘moved’ with visible gap exposing the floor. Should be easy fix.

Pros:

I liked the room because it had everything I needed for a few nights. It was clean, and the bathtub and shower were super clean. Really a nice bedroom and worth the money.

Cons:

I wasn't a fan of the staff or how they greeted us. When you're traveling with kids, you expect more help, especially when you're super tired. Honestly, I didn't like the electronic check-in and how the staff acted like it was still pandemic times. A personal touch and some care are really important, especially in this industry. I wouldn't book this kind of hotel again if I'm with my children, as I really expect some care.

Die Lage war super und das Personal sehr hilfreich

Cons:

Rezeption ist erst ab 14 Uhr (2pm) besetzt und die Hochbetten sind sehr hart, die Matratze ist sehr dünn und durchgelegen. Wir hatten in anderen Hotels auch Futonbetten und dort waren die Matratzen deutlich dicker.
