Yalo has a easy to reach underground car park, address: Vlaanderenstraat 26 (this is not the address of the hotel). Do not put the hotel address in your GPS to reach the car park since you will not be able to reach the parking then. The Ghent City center is a low emission zone. If you want to reach the hotel (and parking) it is required to register your car on the website of the city (exception for cars registered in Belgium and the Netherlands). If you don't register you might get fined.

Stylish but sometimes this outweighs customer comfort and experience.
Pros:

The ambiance of the hotel, stylish decoration, location slightly out of the busy centre, nice bar and restraunt area. Large bed, nice bedding. The room was cleaned daily, which was nice, although we had scanned the code not to do it to be eco friendly. The balcony was large.

Cons:

Noise from the rooftop bar- we were on 5th floor - although the bar closed at 11.00 moving furniture, cleaning, banging went on to 12.30/12.45 for 3 nights. Bronze tinted mirrors are unsuitable for doing makeup and hair, a small shaving mirror also isn't suitable. The wardrobe shelves were above 6' high, I am 5'. No drawers. Had to ask at reception for tea, coffee, and milk rather than it being refreshed as part of housekeeping. Cushions would be nice for the hard cold balcony chairs. We would prefer the sink in the toilet/ shower room, not the bedroom, for hygiene and privacy. I wouldn't want to work on the metal chair down the corridor bit next to the sink for any length of time. The food is quite expensive.
