Yalo has a easy to reach underground car park, address: Vlaanderenstraat 26 (this is not the address of the hotel). Do not put the hotel address in your GPS to reach the car park since you will not be able to reach the parking then. The Ghent City center is a low emission zone. If you want to reach the hotel (and parking) it is required to register your car on the website of the city (exception for cars registered in Belgium and the Netherlands). If you don't register you might get fined.

Stylish and comfortable hotel a short walk from the city centre, in a chic part of Ghent. On the T1/T3 tram route from station. Super comfortable beds, we loved the buzzing roof top bar and splendid breakfasts including everything from shakshouka to waffles. Staff were really helpful and friendly, and really happy to speak English, but that's true throughout Ghent. Would absolutely return to the Yalo.
The restaurant menu for the evening is dominated by expensive sharing dishes which we found off-putting but loads of great dining options in Ghent.

The breakfast quality is very good but what made it stood out was the team running it. Professional and customer oriented service made our mornings a joy. They are the reason for the 10 score.
Location was a 10min Uber ride or 15min Tram ride from Gent Sint Peiters station, 10min scenic walk to the historical centre, 3mins walk to a large well stocked supermarket.
Very safe city to stay in, I was out early at 6am and late till 11pm for photoshoots and never felt unsafe.
Lots of food choices to choose from and hours are quite good.
Room was good, clean and well thought out.
Reception team were very professional and keen to help with every request that we made.
Overall a very good stay, and I will recommend it to anyone who is keen to base in Ghent and explore the other cities.
The room we had was equipped with a semi translucent toilet glass that shows the silhouette of the person inside when showering. As I was travelling with my parents, I had to either hide or get out of the room for her to shower. So, that is one thing to note.

Comfortabel, stijlvol, zeer vriendelijk personeel.
Die Lage ist perfekt. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Balkon. Ein wunderschöner Blick über die Stadt bei gutem Wetter. Und ein Balkon, der auch mal eine anständige Größe hat. Und noch etwas: das Haus hat eine Zigarrenlounge !!! Das Restaurant ist übrigens auch extrem gut. Ein modernes Konzept, perfekt umgesetzt.

Modern, newish (5-year old), centrally located "Boutique" hotel (90 rooms), built around an atrium in which a lounge, a bar and a restaurant. The hotel seems to aim for a clientèle under 50 years of age but as someone who is older I felt just as welcome. In fact, the staff was both pleasant and helpful. My room was light, spacious, quiet, clean and tastefully decorated; TV offered a choice of 30+ national and international channels. The bed was excellent.
Everything was amazing, rooms are nicely decorated and spacious. With the location being right in the center of the city, and friendly staff. Would highly recommend staying here, great value for money and amazing location with a modern chic interior.
They didn’t have brush for the toilet inside the room.
El hotel es precioso, decorado con mucho gusto. Las habitaciones son modernas con una ambientación muy bien lograda. Está ubicado a pocos minutos de las actividades turísticas pero sin estar en el centro del bullicio. El desayuno es muy completo.
