This a jewell in London , no other hotel take care of you this way. we were surprise from the start. Rooms are very travel logic , room for the suitcase , linen are soft and confy. Breakfast is very nice and complete with healthy choice. Staff is friendly and helpfull. The vibe is quiet and relax. even if is far from donwtown , the DLR is 2 minutes walk and can take anywhere in minutes. So no worries on distances. even got a spa on the last floor.
Get your Oyster car before arrival , the DLR and train station near do not sell it.
This quirky hotel was a fun stay. The staff were helpful, the food was excellent. It was close to the Troxy, where we were attending a gig.
Decent hotel with a great breakfast. Rings are simple but clean. There is freeuse of the sauna included.
No views. Close to train line so a bit noisy. You have to pay a deposit which is annoying.
Sehr laute Lüftung und DLR Züge direkt vor dem Zimmer.
Sehr viel "Deko".
Amazing decor
Lovely staff
Wonderful restaurant
Noisy as it's next to the train tracks
Small room with no chair to sit on
I have stayed before, this time booked also for Swedish Colleague who asked for a Hilton Hotel, he is now a convert !!
Quirky
Felt unfriendly being ask to pay £100 deposit on arrival in addition to to room payment
Location close to Canary Warf was good. The building had enormous potential. Breakfast range was fresh & interesting.
My room had no proper window, it was boarded up. There was an A/C outlet outside the window which was extremely noisy all night. The room smelled of mildew. The hotel was trying for eclectic whimsical aesthetic with many many ornaments, however resulted in cluttered deliverance aesthetic. The breakfast buffet was middle Eastern themed, which personally I love having lived in the middle East, however the allergens were not clearly identified. With pistachios on bananas & chili on avocado etc.
It is an excellent location in East London. Within a stones' throw distance from the river Thames. The hotel is a converted library and has been decorated with meticulous attention to detail. As you enter the hotel from Commercial Road, you are transported into an era of grandeur and colour that belies the hustle and bustle of London life.
The place is quiet, calm and cozy. The room I stayed in was exquisite. The space, the generous amount of sunlight coming into the room. The comfortable beds and couches. Amazing coffee.
Will definitely visit again.
Access to public transport, ie Tube network, is tenuous. For someone who is used to accessing either the bus or Tubes within minutes of getting out of the door, the walk to the DLR feels lengthy. Especially when you are carrying bags without wheels. :)
I am not sure the rooms were cleaned to a standard that reflects the rest of the hotel. The shower didnt drain properly.
The staff did take immediate note once I reported these issues.
The minibar appears to be stocked with items purchased in bulk from Costco, however, priced retail or more.
Conforto do quarto, decoração, pequeno almoço
Localização um pouco afastada dos principais transportes. Cortinas pouco opacas, deixando entrar alguma luz bem cedo pela manhã (Maio-Agosto)..
The design and decor of the Hotel is 6 star. Immense care and attention has been paid to the detail of each room (I've stayed in 4 different kinds of room so far from Duplex to Superior) and the imagination, breadth of reading and catholic interests of the owner are fully on display
Nothing
Hotel was excellent, great breakfast, rooms great with very comfy bed
Room 108 has air conditioning units right outside window which was very noisy if you have the windows open.
Exceptional decor. Beautiful design. Attentive, friendly approachable staff. Phenomenal breakfast
Very clean modern bedrooms and bathrooms.
Very noisy with the trains, church bells police sirens etc. Basic breakfast but the scrambled and fried eggs were cold.
Gem of a find of a hotel. Booked due to attending The 02. Hotel itself clean, staff friendly and polite. The decor was unique with lots of lovely pictures and ornaments to look at.
Had the Jane Austin room which was clean. Bed was comfortable and a decent shower too.
Great location for exploring London. Lovely buffet style breakfast with good choice and laid out easy too.
Just the fact we didn’t realise it had a wellness spa otherwise we would have used that but that’s an excuse to return back!

Absolutely can’t fault this place a hidden gem!
So unique! All sorts of antiques in every part of the hotel. Comfortable spaces to sit about, outside of your own room! Every space was totally different! The staff was so very friendly!
