Ruby Mimi Zurich

I stayed one night in this hotel.
Everything was perfect since I arrived.
Stella, the receptionist, welcomed me and made me feel immediately home.
Between a smile and a talk, she suggested me some restaurants to eat in and gave me some tips to enjoy Zurigo.
The room was very clean, with an amazing shower directly facing the room itself (see the pic).
If I should be back there, Mimi Ruby will be my choice.

This is my/our 5th stay at the Ruby Mimi in Zurich, three times solo on business and two times with my wife. The location is unbeatable, right in the centre of Zurich and very close to the train station and Bahnhofstrasse. The rooms are well maintained. The concept of the hotel is particular and may not be everyone's cup of tea. Reception and bar are combined, the bar personnel doubles as reception / concierge and the room layout, in particular the toilet and shower, is unusual. Have a look at the pictures provided by the hotel to see if this works for you. It definitely saves space!

What is new and welcomed is that dogs are now allowed in a particular room category. For our short visits, this hotel works well for us. Pricing was a bit higher than usual, but we booked relatively late. The parking discount available at Urania Parking is definitely welcomed. We also tried the Dupont Brasserie (not related to the hotel) next door and were not impressed by the meal we received.

I use to come to Zurich for professional trip and especially at Ruby Mimi. The positive aspect location really close to the train station and everything, room are super clean and the breakfast is incredibly good and rich! Only the price a bit big for the services inside the hotel! I recommend!

This is a fabulous hotel to stay in. Close to the Zurich train station and central shopping area. Having come from another country the staff were so friendly and helpful making us feel welcome and comfortable straight away. The rooms are very clean and attractive and the bed just great! We enjoyed their mini theatre and rewatched A Star is Born one evening. We highly recommend this hotel⭐️

Centrally located in Zurich not far from train station and Bahnstrathoff street. The hotel inside is very dark painted in black colour as if you are at the Ghost house. It was a Cinema in old days. The breakfast is cold 🥶.,no fried eggs or Omellete. They only provide soft or hard boiled eggs. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean but very cramped.

Excellent Hotel

There are so many wonderful things to say about this hotel. From the cool, movie theme decor to the friendly and welcoming staff to finally the great food and drinks. The hostess gave us perfect suggestions to enjoy our first time in Zurich and we feel we made the most of our visit there. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and definitely get the breakfast there. The food was fresh and delicious. We would 100% stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone!

We love the Ruby hotel brand, my only reservation is their rooms do not come with refrigerators. Please do your due diligence when booking for your needs. Other than that a wonderful and fun experience at Ruby!

Jasmine was eonderful

Overpriced for an exceedingly small hotel room. The glassed in shower jutting out into the hotel room, while marketed as stylish / boutique was really a way to cram in more rooms per floor. The stand alone sink IN the hotel room rather than in the bathroom is another indication they hadn’t allocated sufficient living space per room. It was ok for a couple of nights, but there were likely better options. Do your due diligence before settling on this hotel. Convenience to the train station is all that it has going for it.

The Ruby Mimi in Zurich is close to the train station, in the middle of the Old Town area, and convenient to most of the top areas if interest. The staff was extremely welcoming and the room was clean, spacious and bright. We enjoyed our stay and would come back.

Very snarky clerk (guy) at check-in. Would recommend getting rid of him-
We stowed our bags and fortunately female clerk reassigned our room to 5th floor suite.
Loved it. Great view of historic district and very spacious. Zero on parking. Breakfast was good.
No sauna or workout room. A lot of dining options in the area.
