A great close to campus stay
Pros:

The hotel property and staff are fantastic. We worked in town over a three week span. Diane help me with a group sales rate that fit my budget. The WHOLE team with food and beverage kept us fed and watered. The valet staff even took great care of us, particularly David.

The girl who was in the reception, unfortunately I never got her name, but she was amazing! Sooo friendly, cheerful and and happy to help with anything! We arrived during the evening at the 21st of June and we felt so welcomed right away!
The room and facilities, including the bar at the first floor were also great. Great view from the rooftop as well. Laundry room was good too. Close walk to the Capitol building, which I think you should see if you're in Austin because it's a really nice building. Also a close walk to the university, which is also where the RedCoach buses stop, so great if you are coming and/or going by bus which we were. A bit further down to the 6th street but doable, Uber and Lyft is not too expensive down there.

Cons:

All was good. I kind of wish we would have stayed here for the whole stay. We moved to a hotel on 6th street later which was good too especially location-wise but as a whole this hotel was the best stay.
