The room was very different and beautiful, the location and street view was lovely.
The bedroom was nice, however there was a loud train in the subway that passed by every 30 minutes or so which shook the whole room and was so loud it woke me up from my sleep. The website stated we could choose our room on arrival, however we didn’t get that option. The shower also smelt like urine and it was stained yellow on the floor. There were also dirty towels shoved into one of the cupboard when we arrived.
De locatie is perfect, aan de Passeig de Garcia, naast Casa Battlo en vlak bij de Ramblas. Ik was hier een paar dagen om met mijn dochter te shoppen en had 2 losse bedden gevraagd en kregen een kamerupgrade naar de 5de verdieping in een prachtige kamer met dakterras, heerlijk ruim, super stille airco en geen geluid van buiten terwijl je midden in de stad zit. Receptie van het hotel zit op de eerste verdieping. Daar konden we ook bij aankomst en checkout de koffers veilig achterlaten. Hotel zit vlak bij trein en metro station en diverse eettentjes. Letterlijk ernaast is een nachtwinkel dus konden ook gewoon water halen naast het hotel. Er is geen ontbijtmogelijkheid maar heb je echt niet nodig, op steenworp afstand allemaal leuke ontbijtplekken. Wij vonden Oassis heerlijk, voor 3,50 een yoghurt bowl met fruit en granola.
Er viel niets tegen!!!

Sin servicios de alimentación, el desayuno lo daban en unas cajas que había que solicitar el día anterior. Pieza oscura con ventana muy pequeña a patio de luz. El tv de adorno porque no sintonizaba ningún canal

The hotel is right next to Rambla - great for shopping. The room is actually very very nice and clean. It has slightly weird configuration, but works for 2-3 nights. The staff is great and they offer free coffee and water, which is great. The price is low for this quality.
My room 201 was right in front of the elevator - the noise was disturbing.

Even though I specified 2 beds at time of booking, the unhelpful front staff said I would have to pay an extra 40 EUR for a room with 2 beds.
The entire building also shakes when the metro passes by.

Very central to all our activities in Barcelona. Subway and buses and taxies close at hand also. While a little small (I have been in smaller in France) the room size and facilities were totally adequate for my needs. I would chose to use One Shot again without hesitation.
