Comfortable stay
Pros:

Location, underground parking and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was good and access to hotel was simple.

Cons:

We requested two single beds and the hotel had confirmed at the time of booking. However on arrival we had one king bed.

I lost items in the room

Hotel Krige has loads of potential and perhaps once was lovely and lived up to its four stars.
Pros:

The best thing about Hotel Krige is Piwe at the front desk - helpful and professional. Great location in walking distance of local amenities and activities.

Cons:

While the basics were clean enough, things like doors, curtains, floors could really use a deep clean. Our linen had sand in it, which made us feel uncomfortable about the hygeine and cleanliness throughout. Overall, the Hotel needs some sort of storage system - there is random laundry all over the common areas, on the couches that presumably were placed there as pause areas - ladders and the like seem to have been left all over. Breakfast was really not worth eating - stale bagel buns, rubbery eggs, terrible coffee and no plant based milks for the cuppacinos which should be a standard in the Western Cape. A deep clean and a little more care in the breakfast setup would bring this accommodation in alignment with the cost.

Pros:

Hotel well located. Polite staff. Simple breakfast but with everything you need including eggs, beans and bacon/sausage.
