I lost items in the room

Hotel Krige has loads of potential and perhaps once was lovely and lived up to its four stars.
Pros:

The best thing about Hotel Krige is Piwe at the front desk - helpful and professional. Great location in walking distance of local amenities and activities.

Cons:

While the basics were clean enough, things like doors, curtains, floors could really use a deep clean. Our linen had sand in it, which made us feel uncomfortable about the hygeine and cleanliness throughout. Overall, the Hotel needs some sort of storage system - there is random laundry all over the common areas, on the couches that presumably were placed there as pause areas - ladders and the like seem to have been left all over. Breakfast was really not worth eating - stale bagel buns, rubbery eggs, terrible coffee and no plant based milks for the cuppacinos which should be a standard in the Western Cape. A deep clean and a little more care in the breakfast setup would bring this accommodation in alignment with the cost.

Well located, comfortable hotel. Rooms need to be soundproofed.
Pros:

Very comfortable beds, excellent location, close to restaurants, bars, right next to the art mile which connects you to the entire town via a safe walkway/cycle path, or e-scooter. The breakfast was nice, with hot food, toast and cold cuts, and pastries

Cons:

The shower drain was clogged so a shower over 2 minutes long lead to the bathroom being flooded. The rooms have not been soundproofed so it's difficult to sleep when the students are jolling down the road. If they'd soundproof the roofs, they'd get a 10 rating, but I find it a substantial shortcoming.

Pros:

Das Hotel Krige liegt 5 Gehminuten vom Zentrum entfernt und ist dennoch sehr ruhig (wir konnten bei offenem Fenster schlafen). Perfekter Gratis-Parkplatz in der Tiefgarage. Das Frühstück hat uns in seiner Qulität überrascht.

Unterkunft im Herzen von Stellenbosch
Pros:

Sehr zentrale Lage in stellenbosch. Es ist alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich. Wir waren hier für 2 Nächte und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Hebben het op deze centrale plaats in Stellenbosch goed naar de zin gehad.
Pros:

Kamer met balkon uitstekend. Rustige zijstraat in centrum van
Stellenbosch.

Cons:
