We booked our stay here through Airbnb
But we had to check in at the reception and pay a fee for a wrist band to use the hotel facilities which we were aware of
The issue is with the Reception Staff
Firstly she was not able to find the booking
No apology for the wait
Didn't seem to have a clue what she was doing
Secondly she did not explain what the breakdown of the charge was on my credit card
And Finally She Gave No Directions to the lifts which caused
us to go up 25 floors in the wrong lift
When I returned to the reception after dragging all our luggage half way across the hotel she informed us with No Apology the lift we required was in the opposite direction
The check-in experience was horrible. The overnight front desk guy Alex is a moron. He didn’t seem to understand what a reservation number was. He couldn’t find my reservation even though I confirmed it a couple hours earlier today. Said they don’t use reservation numbers… huh?!
This went on for about 10 minutes. I confirmed I was at the right hotel, Lyfe Hollywood FL, yes. I listed the name of 10 other colleagues also stayning here - does he have their reservations? Through an endless haze of his confusion oh, he found it.
I had told him I was here for business and he wanted to ramble on about beach chairs. I said I won’t have time for beach. He proceeded to ramble on further about beach chairs. WTF dude - do you have any ability to read the room? Obviously, no.
I get to my room- someone else’s black hairs are everywhere. Let me just take a shower and wash this bad start off, nope. Shower is gross and the light doesn’t work. Sigh, I’ll call to see if maintenance can do something about the light tomorrow. lord knows front desk dude couldn’t do something as challenging as a mairequest!
I’m going to have 5 nights here, ugh!

Have to say Nadine Ellis did an amazing job for us! She went above and beyond to accommodate my wife and I. We were here celebrating my wife's 50th birthday and she took great care of us. And the hotels nice too. :-)
Nadine, Junior and most of the hotel staff were FANTASTIC. This place had everything I needed for a stress reliever. The location on the beach, 2 bedrooms with 2 full baths, roof top jacuzzi, game room, bar and restaurant was above my expectations. We had amazing views of the city, beach and sun sets. It didn’t feel like we were in the USA. I thought I was in the Caribbean. If you do not have a passport, this is your spot!!!
I wish the jacuzzi stayed open longer. The views from the roof top are Amazing at night. I needed the water therapy as I am recovering from a car accident.
We had a good time at Lyfe. The front desk supervisor, Junior, was particularly nice and helpful. He helped make our stay more pleasant. He is a good listener, he is very calm and he does his best to make the guests feel comfortable!
I have statues here a few time. Nadine Ellis checked me in and provided excellent and friendly service. She is the best!!!
My wife and I were travelling all day and were physically exhausted.
We arrived at 7pm and completely blown away by the welcoming by Nadine at the front desk.
She empathized with our exhaustion.
We’ve booked it last minute, and it was not even registered on the hotel itinerary, but she made it a breeze working extra hard to find our reservation and succeeded.
We walked into our unit and were blown away on how beautiful it is.
We are going to have a fantastic week thanks to Nadine giving us fantastic welcome in this spectacular two bedroom suite.
Alexandro went above and beyond. We booked through booking.com and he couldn’t find our reservation in the system. Aside from all those complications at the late time of night. Holding all of our baggages.He assured us and he apologized even though it was out of his control. He made sure that we did not walk away unsatisfied. First impression is everything and I was upset and he calmed me down he assured me that once I walk through that door nothing else matters. And now that we are about to check out and I have leave all I can say is thank you alexandro
Nadine Ellis was an exceptional additional to our stay. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and more. I am so grateful for her positive attitude and caring soul.
Resort is absolutely incredible, amenities are wonderful, and vibes are all around spectacular. Junior at front desk was especially helpful, super friendly and just awesome. Paola was also incredibly helpful. Staff here are great. Highly recommend a stay at Lyfe Resort!!
Clean unit, ocean front
Nadine helped us out while I stayed here. She was great, always answered all my questions and overall 10/10 customer service. Thanks to her my stay here was amazing! Definitely will be coming back.
Upon check in i was notified by the front desk personnel that there was no water and no A/C, and there was no time frame for both services to be back up and working. This was an on going issue since the night before, but there was no communication fron the property what so ever, and even when i refused to check in under those circumstances they gave me a very hard time to cancel my reservation and refund my money
I called prior to arrival and requested a room on a low floor because I read complaints about long waits for elevators. I got a room on the 3rd floor which had one problem after another. Nadine Ellis offered to change my room, but I declined. She addressed each problem and when there was just one too many, I agreed to change rooms. The elevator wait was not bad, my room (34th floor) and the rest of my stay was perfect. Nadine always has a smile and is happy to help her clients have the best stay possible. Go Nadine!!!
Worse customer service I have experienced in my entire life.
The reset was very organized and beautifully designed. The drinks at the pool were well made. Abundance of towels at the pool and the beach. Nice ambiance. Definitely recommend and will go again.
The valet parking is really bad. They left my vehicle in park and ran my battery dead. They didn’t even want to refund my payment for the valet. Once we arrived at the hotel they told us we had a certain room number and once we get to the room the keys didn’t work. They gave us the wrong room number and had to get us into the right room. All this took over an hour and having kids under the age of four, this was kind of disappointing having to wait to get to our rooms and get settled. The amenities were nice but the having a suite for 4 people and getting to the beach and trying to get four chairs they wanted to charge us an for the 2 more chairs since they have a policy for only 2 chairs per room.
Valet parking, worse service and experience I have ever received. My recent visit to Lyfe Resort and Residences was sadly marred by a deeply frustrating experience with their valet parking and very rude personnel. While the resort itself held promise, their valet parking left a lasting negative impression that overshadowed any positive aspects of my visit. So beware, you will be scammed and treated very rudely.
I had a good time at the front desk. Nadine was very attentive and helped me out right away. Will definitely recommend and come back.
