Pretty but can improve
Pros:

The hotel is pretty, nicely decorated and designed. The various room customizations are unique. It was very thoughtful to be provided a welcome gift (glass of sparkling wine), and the front desk staff were friendly. It was nice being able to request items via the SHASHI app and have them delivered to my door. The bed was comfortable and the pillows nice and soft. I appreciate the small toiletries like plastic shower cap, makeup removal wipe, and floss.

Cons:

I ran into a few issues. One, the jets and bubbles in the hot tub abruptly shut off around 9:30pm, not sure if that is intentional as the pool closes at 10 or why that happened. Was just sitting in hot water at that point, not enjoyable. Overall, the pool area was quite disorganized, guests had left items strung about and no staff had tended to the area, it looked like a tornado passed through, there were only 3 clean towels left. In addition to that, the main pool was not heated - online it says it is, but I tried to get in and was quite cold, I could not stand it. For the inside, my bathroom counter and accessories could have used some cleaning, there were water stains and buildup around the sink and some of the items I had to touch felt sticky. There was a very strong fragrance in the hall, there was an automated fragrance dispenser, the smell was overbearing to me.

I really enjoyed my stay at the shashi. I will definitely give it a 5 start rating!
Pros:

I liked all the amenities that the hotel had to offer. I also really enjoyed the location of the hotel due to it being right across the street from the computer science museum. Lastly the hotel staff were phenomenal.

Cons:

I didn't have any complaints.

I enjoyed how close it was to the shoreline amphitheater. I was there for a concert

Cons:

Didn't enjoy when I first got there how long it took for our room to cool down. It was hot in there. Would suggest setting initial temperature a little lower

Pros:

Location relative to shoreline amphitheater was amazing. I’ll stay here again just so I can walk to the events. Unfortunately other than shoreline there’s not too much else around

Cons:

The bar and restaurants on site were nice and food was decent. The pool is unfortunately WAY smaller than it looks in pics and sadly seems to never get a ray of sunshine because it’s tucked in the middle of the buildings. This was a massive disappointment as I was looking forward to laying by the pool during the weekend. Lack of sun and tiny pool area killed that hope altogether

Spa vibe.
Pros:

Great place. I wish I could stay a week. A much needed vacation.

Cons:

Atmosphere. Steam room and dry sauna. Beds were comfy.
