Large beautiful hotel with many facilities

I had an excellent experience during my stay, thanks to a truly dedicated team. Special recognition to Front Desk Manager Mr. Akpan, whose leadership and professionalism set the tone from arrival.

I was especially impressed by the attention to detail shown by Mr. Peter, Mr. Victor, and Olajumoke each consistently attentive and proactive. The service team was equally outstanding: Nekabari, Ayomide, and Chika delivered warm and efficient service as waitresses, while Vivian and Gladys created a welcoming atmosphere as hostesses.

Victor (waiter) ensured every dining experience was smooth and enjoyable, and Tola at the bar provided top-tier service with great skill. Peter, the Supervisor, clearly upholds high standards across the team.

Overall, this team exemplifies excellence in hospitality. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care made a lasting impression.

Handling laundry returns.
I had some mix up in my laundry, but the laundry supervisor later resolved the issues.

Beautiful hotel to welcome you to the city of Lagos, food choices are amazing, pool, entertainment is there. If I am in Lagos again I will be sure to stay there again.

Location, facilities and food

I had a good stay here; it felt like a quiet hideout tucked away in a busy part of town. While the rooms are a bit compact, they are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. One tip for future guests: room service can take a while, so I’d recommend ordering well in advance. Overall, a very pleasant experience!"

My boyfriend and I stayed for 1 week in March to celebrate our anniversary. A smiling Raphael greeted us at the front desk before we even reached the desk. His supervisor, Catherine, then joined him to check us in. There were no rooms ready upon arrival, but we only waited 40 minutes before getting into our room since we arrived at 10 am. The bellman, whose name I did not get, helped us in our room and was honest by splitting the tip and taking it down to Raphael as I asked. We booked a king standard room, and it was the best room that I have stayed in so far in Lagos. The modern decor and cleanliness of the room were a game-changer in Lagos. They offer both US/UK plugs, wifi and streaming services. Along with daily housekeeping, which was great as well. The food & beverage team everywhere was amazing. We were able to try every resturant but the highlight of them all was Koriko breakfast buffet. David was often my server and made sure to help me as I am disabled. Peace and Faith was also a joy to speak with as well. Peter, the food and beverage manager, also went above and beyond for me at the poolside grill Azure. I especially enjoy the 24/7 room service and cafe in the lobby. The ham and cheese croissant and coffee were my go-to. We were able to walk in at the spa and have a couple's facial for both of us. Ebere and Faith did our facials, which left us feeling refreshed. I can say the chemicals were too strong for my face and it burn but healed in two days. I would recommend sensitive products for guests. On my last day, I had my first issue on my last day as I got a rude call from the front desk around 530pm about my bill, which I already settled that morning. I did not remember her name, but she was a supervisor with a bob haircut. Also, the reservation Mr. Peter set up for us was not accomedated and the service was not up to par from the day staff. They took 40 minutes to greet us and never came back to check on us after our food arrived. But overall, the previous days outweighed the last day. The staff will greet you whenever they see you and help you out whenever they see me. A big shout out to Ms. Catherine and Rapheal who spoke to me whenever they saw me. Another shoutout to Mr.Peter, who checked on me through my last day and post-stay as well. I will be returning in a few weeks, and I cannot wait to come back for another week or two.

This review pertains to the Azure Poolside Grill, at the Marriott Hotel in Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. I come here often and I have to say that one of the things I look forward to the most is eating at the Azure Grill. Stanley, the head chef, is an artist. Always cooking the most delicious food, with dedication, excellence, skill, and definitely a love for his craft. Stanley always make sure to use only the freshest ingredients and he takes the time to stop by every table to make sure that everything is perfect. If you ever find yourself coming to the Marriott in Ikeja, definitely pay Azure Grill a visit. Be sure to ask for Stanley; you will not be disappointed.

Adenike and I had a wonderful 7 night stay at the Lagos Marriott Hotel Ikeja, and I can confidently say it was an excellent experience from start to finish.
The room was cleaned daily and the bedsheets were changed every day, which made the stay feel fresh, comfortable, and truly relaxing. The attention to cleanliness and detail was impressive and greatly appreciated.
The food was absolutely amazing. Every meal was delicious and well prepared. The dining experience was definitely one of the highlights of our stay.
A special shout out to Mr. Peter, who was exceptionally professional, attentive, and warm. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable, and his excellent customer service did not go unnoticed.
Thank you to the entire team for such a pleasant and comfortable stay. I would happily return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nigeria.
