The staff were very friendly and accommodating! Linh spoke very good English and was very helpful and polite throughout our stay. She also recommended an event nearby on the evening of our stay which was welcomed since the town is quite small and doesn’t have many restaurants or shops to choose from.
The breakfast was delicious and the view from the 5th floor is spectacular — day and night!
The property hasn’t been well maintained.
Our originally booked room’s toilet seat was completely loose. The wallpaper was also peeling off the wall in some places and the TV wasn’t working. We were then moved to another room. This room’s TV wasn’t working either and the bed sheets were stained. The third room we were moved to was comfortable. It had a window and a pretty view. There was some very visible water damage by the window and the ceiling above it, the shower head was a bit crazy and the fridge door was jammed, but other than that we had a good night’s rest.
The corridors and coffee shop are very dusty.
The terrace on the 5th floor offers spectacular views. Sadly the terrace itself needs plenty of love. Many tiles have been lifted, are missing or cracked. Some stringed nightlights have come loose and are hanging low. Pot plants have been toppled over for a while.
The restaurant says that it is open on Google Maps, but definitely is not. There are also not many restaurants nearby and the Grab App also doesn’t offer food deliveries or transportation. There is not much to do in the town other than visit nearby shrines and pagodas.
It looks like maintenance has not been consistent for a very long time.

Insect on my bed and lots of ants. The bathroom did not have good plumbing and every morning there was a puddle of water on the floor.
Amazing services as we arrived on their biggest holiday of the year, everything is closed, but Ms Loan was so kind to personally cooked for us the dinner and the traditional New Year breakfast.
she also gifted us the red Envelope 🧧 for good luck as their tradition.
Room was super clean, roomy with great mattress and pillows.
It took us only 15 minutes by car from the hotel to Tam Chuc pagoda, the largest pagoda in South East Asia.
Nothing
Very friendly staff. We complained about noise coming from outside and we were able to change to another room. No one speaks English but they tried hard to cater for us and even rustled up an evening meal for two tired cyclists.
