The bed was exceptionally comfortable Temperature of room was perfect as it was a very hot day but room was cool. The location was ideal and we parked the car overnight on the nearby car park. Staff in reception very attentive. The room is decorated to my taste

Lovely room,. The free breakfast was very good. There are construction works next to the hotel, but this did not interfere with our enjoyment of the hotel.
Fabulous location, 5 min from the Shambles. We loved the Spark food place across the road. The aircon and iced water very welcome in the heat wave. Decent breakfast too. Great view of canal /river from our room.
Breakfast buffet was exceptional with convenient hours. No ice makers in the hotel but staff at the bar always willing to provide ice. Staff very helpful and nice. Room had a refrigerator adding to convenience. Location was fantastic inside city walls. Easy walking distances to shopping, tourist attractions and numerous bars and restaurants. Easy walk from train station.
Room looked out into large construction building. Heating system complicated so had difficulty cooling down room. Washroom got hot and steamy after a shower.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Every part of the hotel was spotless and the breakfast was just perfect.

The Staff! We appreciated the lovely welcome at Reception and kind, friendly professionalism of absolutely everyone we met right up to taxi organised for us on check out. I hope Hilton appreciate their staff in Hampton York!
Enjoyed the choice at Complimentary Breakfast, apart from the scrambled eggs... We like our choice of eggs in Ireland and Britain!
Next time I'm booking, I'll be interested to see if Hilton Hotels respond to their clients' preferences!
