By the look of the pictures it seems as if the property is on a quiet residential street. There are also a few reviews that say it is quiet. it is not at all quiet - The Castle Pub is right on the intersection of 3 really busy roads with 3 sets of traffic lights so all you can hear most of the night and car, lorry and bus engines running and for lots of cars great booming car stereos too. I had earplugs in and music on my phone but I still woke loads in the night. The room is cold and the duvet provided is a single summer light one. There was no wifi details in the room and I did not want to go down into the pub as it was full of men drinking and full of England flags. I feel afraid of flag flying nationalist type guys as a woman on my own - i associate them with violence against women, racism and thuggish behaviour so I did not want to go into that environment. The town of Accrington, is unfortunately, very down at heel. Lots of rubbish and I saw a few rats too. I have tried to get a refund but with OYO there is actually no easy way to get through to them at all. I will persist but I dont' hold much hope. I did not stay for my booked in 2 nights and had to pay for an air b and b elsewhere instead - massively inconvenient and extra expense

The bed was broken. The traffic was very bad and didn’t get much sleep and our bathroom overlooked the houses across the road and the traffic

Realised in the morning that the property remains open by a side door all night. Not secure. And it was so noisy . I wouldn’t stay here if you want a good nights sleep.

Nothing to dislike.

Toiletries wasn't provided as stated online for shower we just had hand wash on bathroom sink. Rooms were quite basic which was OK for us as we only stayed one night and needed a place after a night out.

OVO organization is complete rubbish. Needed to contact them they do not answer the Phone, email address asks for booking number and does not move on.

The bathroom was very cramped, especially the shower, and I was nervous about not being given a key to an external door, having been locked out of a hotel before, but the downstairs bar was open late. It's up and down hill to the place from the train station, but you won't escape that wherever you stay in Accrington!

Il problema principale ha riguardato i letti: piumoni pieni di pallini, peli/capelli sul mio cuscino, delle strane macchie sul lenzuolo dell'altro letto... indici di scarse cura e attenzione; l'impressione è stata di poca pulizia tanto che abbiamo dormito vestiti coprendo il cuscino con una maglietta e un asciugamani. Ho dato una valutazione solo poco sotto la sufficienza siprattutto per l'host e per il bagno, che pur senza sapone per la doccia, sembrava pulito. Peccato ... basterebbe poco per rendere un soggiorno lì più che accettabile. Rapporto qualità/prezzo basso; il giorno dopo abbiamo soggiornato a Liverpool in un hotel 4 stelle a solo 14€ in più, a Liverpool in pieno centro non ad Accrington dove ci siamo dovuti fermare solo per necessità...

Couple of small things the room had a lack of sockets for charging phones etc and the kettle had no socket so had boil it on the floor but it didnt distract from our good stay!!!
