Quiet relaxing stay
Pros:

Loved the biscuits and gravy. The breakfast was so good. Also, the pool was inside, which was awesome. The bedrooms were so clean and nice and quiet. We didn’t even realize anybody was staying there until we went down to breakfast. The staff was so nice and accommodating. Housekeeping gave us extra things even though we didn’t ask for it. We will definitely stay here again.

Cons:

Everything looks great. It was super nice and relaxing. There was nothing negative to say about it.

Great location opposite Starbucks, near to a pebble beach, food places, gas stations, a small museum and other fun places.
The bedroom was huge and the bed itself was big and very comfortable.

Great view - thank you.

Polite breakfast staff - the ladies were very nice and welcoming, said good morning. Busy cleaning up and making sure everything was well stocked.

Breakfast - pancake machine, the biscuits and the vegetarian omelette was nice.

Cons:

Customer service upon arrival.
Wasn't allowed to check in early despite sending a message way before the trip.
Fake Dove products in the bathroom - I use Dove on a regular and that was not Dove. Watered down something that did not feel or smell like Dove products.
Shower didn't look all the way clean.
Sewage smell from the shower sink upon leaving.

Holiday Inn is such a reputable chain that I genuinely expected a higher level of quality and customer service. It is also one of the most expensive hotels in the area, so I assumed the experience would reflect that — something closer to a first‑class stay, but it didn’t quite meet those expectations.

A great place to stay with a friendly staff
Pros:

It’s clean, rooms are a good size and breakfast is yummy. I love the front desk staff, made checking in fun, small chit chat

Cons:

I don’t have anything negative to say, this was my second time staying at the hotel and the experience was lovely

Perfect Stay in Every Way
Pros:

One of the best HIE locations that I've had the pleasure of staying with.
Desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The entire hotel was immaculate. Breakfast coffee was very good (don't find that in many places)
Breakfast was good - dining area was immaculate.
My bed was heavenly comfortable.

Pros:

The continental breakfast and especially the staff that run the breakfast area were above and beyond amazingly helpful and kind. They went above and beyond Elsa and Chris went out of their way to offer help and anticipate our needs. They were very busy, refilling items the whole time.

Cons:

Waited a long time to check in because of room cleaning. Most hotels can offer early check-in although this one made us wait right up until 4 o’clock even though I had a handicapped person and two children with me waiting. It seems out of a four level hotel there should be at least one room available by 2 o’clock.

Good breakfast, nice rooms, but VERY hot vehicle.
Pros:

The breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the biscuits and gravy! Rooms were well maintained and cheerfully decorated.

Cons:

1) The front desk lady (Martina) was a bit rude at first and not friendly or helpful.
2) there was no shade structure for parking. Temperature was 118 degrees.
3) no adult beverages
