I enjoyed late pool times of 9pm and staff were there to help at all times provided us with a scale when needed came to check the AC. I appreciated the late 2pm checkout rather than 12 thanks.
I'm sad to say that the standards at this hotel have definitely dropped since my previous stay.
The breakfast had very limited options and mainly catered to South Indian tastes. The pancakes had absorbed the flavour of the sausages they were placed next to, and the only pastries available were small cakes that were very dry, overly sweet, and lacked flavour.
The room also wasn't as clean as expected. The bed sheets didn't feel properly clean on the first day, the bathroom mirror had smear marks, and the bathtub was dirty. Overall, the rooms feel like they need a major upgrade.
Room had small kettle and fridge that goes off when you leave your room.
The hotel shuttle bus was cancelled until September, supposedly due to the recent war situation, but other hotels were still running theirs. This should have been communicated before arrival.
Room service was overpriced, and the chocolate brownie came with lots of pistachios without this being mentioned.
The pool also had sharp, grainy bits on the bottom, making it uncomfortable to walk on.
Overall, I expected much better based on my previous stay. I understand tourism has been affected recently, but I felt the hotel should have made more effort to maintain its standards and guest experience.
Location
1. Not family friendly, interconnected rooms are not available and they didn't give us adjacent rooms.
2. The room cards kept failing and had to be replaced multiple times.
3. the room had no cups and glasses! they gave us 2 disposable paper cups. so it was either we drink tea or water!
4. We asked for late checkout and only 1 hour was granted.
5. rooms are specious and hotel was clean and location is superb.
The parking entrance is seen, so you don’t need to search it. The parking slots are wide and very comfortable to park, and there were always plenty of space.
The room is very bright and it has all the details for the comfortable staying.
Breakfast is good and extremely tasty and fresh. I enjoyed my two days breakfasts which is very important to me.
They have a great Syrian restaurant near in less than 5 minutes of walk of the hotel, which was a great advantage. There’s a shop near as well.
I loved everything and they were pretty nice stay. One of my favorite affordable hotels in Dubai as I visit this city on a weekly basis and have tried many of its hotel.
I needed to ask the bellboy to help me. He say me alone with three bags struggling to open the door, and waited for me to ask for help.
That isn’t a big issue, but I would appreciate to get help on that without needing to ask.
