절약하고 친환경을 생각하는 호텔이라 생각들었고, 아메빌까지는 걸어서 넉넉히 20분, 이온몰까지는 15분임!

Maybe the parking, but the alternate was just fine!
We stayed four nights at the Oile by DSH Resorts, and found it to be a rather interesting concept. Like some hotels along the coast of Chatan, it’s a slim high-rise with many floors, set just one row back from the beach. From the 9th floor upwards, you’re rewarded with sea views.
One standout feature is the rooftop pool, quite unusual and one of only a couple in Chatan with this kind of setup. The view stretches across Chatan and the shoreline all the way to American Village. Catching the sunset from up there, when it’s open, usually Saturdays, is genuinely spectacular.
The location works well. It’s about a 15-minute walk to American Village along a pleasant seaside promenade lined with restaurants, or just five minutes to the beach. That said, most attractions across Okinawa Island require a car.
Service was very accommodating, and the best English we encountered on the trip, likely due to the strong American influence in Okinawa. The staff also had plenty of helpful tips. Free parking is available, which is ideal if you’re renting a car.
The rooms are nicely designed with a subtle Japanese touch. Depending on the layout, you’ll have one or two beds. As mentioned, from the 9th floor up, the ocean view is fantastic. Everything was clean, and the beds were comfortable. One small drawback in our case was the air conditioning, which, depending on the room design, can blow directly over the beds.
There’s no full breakfast to book, but a small selection of pastries in the morning is included, along with tea, coffee, or juice. It was enough to get our day started. Officially, it begins at 8:00 a.m., which felt a bit late for us, but if you ask nicely, they may accommodate you earlier.
Washing machines and dryers are available for free use, which is very practical.
All in all, a great choice for Okinawa. We would happily stay here again.
