Great birthday trip!
Pros:

Fantastic stay! The staff were amazing and very accommodating. The room had a great river view and a small private cold pool. I also appreciated the option of the outdoor shower. The room was always clean and very nice and big. The staff were absolutely amazing. Only a few things I would change:
Replenishing the drinks in the fridge during our 3 day stay would have been nice. Also the afternoon game drives should have been scheduled later like at 330, and the option of a night game drive would have been nice as well. In addition, the property neeeds an onsite spa space, and a bar near the pool would be nice as well. But I would recommend this to family and friends and I would stay here again.

Pros:

Elephants, hippos and monkeys right outside of door. It was a peaceful and beautiful experience. The staff were the best I’ve ever encountered in my travels. Absolutely genuine and beautiful people. A new resort that is still flying under the radar. Take advantage of it while you can.

2 game drives per day included. You can watch wildlife from the terrace. Big beautiful room, friendly staff, and great restaurant.

Pros:

Service was amazing , the team was so lovely and welcoming . You felt right at home from the moment you stepped onto the property! The rooms are spacious , clean with comfortable bed! The food was delicious, and was such a well crafted menu to fit anyone’s taste. The meal presentation was also beautiful . The game drive was so fun and our guide Jimmy was so knowledgeable, we got to see 4/5 of the Big five within 24hours. It was an absolutely perfect stay, they made my birthday memorable

Incredible first safari
Pros:

Generally incredible stay. Staff were very attentive.

Not as luxury as hotels such as say lion sands which is twice the price though you get all the comfort you need given how busy the days are. If you plan on spending more time in the hotel / room maybe look for more luxury but the balance of comfort and access to the park was perfect for us as first time safari travelers

Perfect mix of hotel comfort and access to safari with two daily drives with very knowledgable guides.

Small negative was the food was only ok but the quality of the surrounding and access to Kruger more than compensated. We had a family of elephants welcome us on our first day with regular hippo and bird sightings from the terrace during out four nights.

We also got engaged in the park. The staff and Elof the guide coordinated an unforgettable experience for my partner and I. Truly made the experience special.
