Very friendly staff; great location for what we needed. Facilites were mostly clean but the carpet in the room probably needs replacing.
Dark rooms with not much light; carpet was grubby with age; the mattress had a large wire poking out of it which scratched my leg - I mentioned this to staff when I left who said they’d take a look at it.
Great place to stay, easy access to travel routes and accommodation separate from pub,good parking, definitely stay again

Very surly & sharp member of staff at reception in the morning. I felt a little intimidated when I went down to try to get some breakfast slightly late. I wasn't aware of the need to pre-order. Seemed early to finish serving grab & go breakfast at 10am on a Sun. No real apology offered. Unsympathetic.
She approached my mum at check out 11am. Mum still in her room & said she was waiting for me. Lady said sharply we don't have anyone else with that name staying here. A little uncalled for.
Not sure what the lady's name was, all I know is that she is leaving next week. Her customer service was very poor.

Carpets dirty. The sort of place where you wipe your feet on the way out. Smell of cigarette smoke in the room.
