The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Kyoto

Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Lounge option gave us free drinks for a good part of the evening. Would highly recommend.

Large room for japan with an unusual and nice floorplan. Subway entrance is very near. Many food and shopping options within a short walk. Would stay again.

This hotel stay was the best I have ever had. They serve you with complimentary treats and drinks at certain times of the day, you really do get a lot of value for money here. Also the size of the hotel room was much more spacious than anywhere else we’ve stayed in Japan. Highly recommend this place!

Great service great rooms

Absolutely fantastic hotel. The staff were brilliant and so helpful. Subway was right on our doorstep allowing easy links to kyoto station in 9 minutes. We went for a room with lounge access which is a must. Good selection of drinks tp help you unwind after exploring this lovely city.
Lots of food places nearby including Nishiki market. We originally had a booking at the Hilton but so glad we changed our mind.

This is a beautiful hotel with the utmost consideration to detail and service. The staff provided excellent customer service, always with patience and smiles! The hotel is located within a comfortable walking distance to the train and subway, as well as the wonderful Nishiki Market. Being able to do laundry was a great convenience! I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return.

Awesome place. The afternoon tea is a bonus. I would recommend adding a fabulous coffee machine at breakfast (like they have at afternoon tea) and a few more breakfast items to choose from. The made to order eggs delicious.

Excellent staff in all departments, very helpful and courteous. Club access was a real feature, hotel is very close to the subway so transport was really easy to areas in Kyoto and beyond. It’s easily walkable to the market, shopping areas and Gion. Vast range of restaurants within walking distances.

Staff goes up and beyond! I left my watch in our room so I called them. Housekeeping has it! Then they sent it to my hotel in Osaka and I received it overnight! I was really impressed! Convenient location and easy access to trains! Room is big. Will book here again when we comeback to Kyoto.

Best place in kyoto

Loved this hotel. Rooms are nicely appointed and comfortable beds. Their hotel pajamas are the nicest ones in Japan! We had access to the lounge - afternoon coffee/tea and beautiful pastries included. Coffee machine serves a decent latte. Happy hour with free beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and snacks. The cocktail bar has a great selection and the bartender took pride in his creation. Breakfast was good (choice of eggs).Would have liked to have a coffee machine that serves lattees at breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel. Great value.

I have to say the reception staff and manager were amazing . Their attention to detail wasbvery high. They always wanted to go the extra mile to ensure the stay was a very positive experience. Breakfast and lounge teams were alsobsuper. Definitely will return.
