Great for a short stay, 2 - 3 nights.
Pros:

Check in was amazing, we arrived early with very little sleep in the previous 24 hours, Ciara was fantastic, looked after us very well. Justin & Gabriella in the cafe were great.
Our room was on the 17th floor overlooking Pacific Fair, great views. Very handy to the tram system, restaurants & shops.
The executive lounge was good, but the food was a bit monotonous.

Cons:

Found the rooms to be a little lacking in storage space. This would be ideal for a 2-3 night stay with little luggage. We were there for 7 nights & there was nowhere to store our clothes, a few coat hangers but no drawers etc. We literally had to live out of our suitcases for the entire time. The executive lounge was good, but the food was a bit monotonous. Disappointed that the pool bar couldn't be charged back to our rooms, only went the once. Other than that we enjoyed our stay

Would always make this a first choice for a stay down at the gc . Comfy convenient good service
Pros:

Friendly staff . Stayed in the executive rooms with evening drink and breaky . Both were lovely . Beautiful clean rooms comfy bed

Cons:

Our room key had a couple of fails but was quickly fixed when we returned from dinner .

breakfast was very grubby - everything had run out and still an hour to go until they closed
not very impressed at all

Cons:

our room was supposed to be non smoking but stunk like cigarettes - not really very clean and a bit old and worn out.
also had asked for a 2pm checkin and the room still wasnt done well at 3.30pm
