Loved the quaint charm, felt like you was in fishing town, which it is, however this destination brought the charm, directly to you. The bathroom was great, walk in shower, the wooden panelling throughout the room, plus wooden floor, and tea are, was great. Definitely, would stay here again.
The location was not ideal ie top of a steep hill.
Charming hotel with a separate living room. Wonderful furnishings, super clean and delightful staff member who brought a breakfast hamper filled with fruits, croissant, cereal and coffee. Walking distance to town. Breathtaking views of the beach.
Wonderful restaurants in town. Loved the charm of this town!
No complaints.
Great position to town and beach

Excellent location just at the top of Broad Street. Slight hill up from the beach and South West Coast Path to Marine Parade (Beware of Seagulls!). Communication was very clear and began early (giving us the door code by which the front door opens) and continued with directions for ordering the continental breakfast. We enjoyed how it arrived by picnic basket outside our room. The room was efficient but attractive with plenty of room for two people to walk around and use the small table and larger table. The tv worked well and connected easily to streaming services we had accounts for. We were able to tuck our bags into the office after check out so we could take another walk to the Cobb before leaving. We also had access to the kitchen but we already had enough tea and things in our room.
Had to be able to arrange a cab ahead of time in order to get from Axminster train to town - there is a bus but only every two hours (not the hotel’s fault just a note for those relying on public transport).
Just a suggestion: the room decor could have been more in theme with its given name (Mary Anning).
The bathroom was a bit bare bones: it could have used a circulation fan and the doorknob could use a refresh to close better. There were plenty of windows for natural light but the set up was a bit odd: there were newer sliding windows in front of older sash windows and the sliding windows could get a little stuck (and we had to be careful not to keep them open enough to let in pigeons).
Great location, nice room
Shower not hot enough, room a bit chilly
very convenient location; light, dual-aspect room with glimpses of the sea over the rooftops; comfortable bed
Wouldn't describe this as a 'hotel' -- key code for admission; continental breakfast delivered in basket outside bedroom door; no room service. All of that was fine, and the owner/manager was readily available by text if needed, but AirBnB rather than 'hotel'. And we had the windows open to take advantage of the sea breeze but being so centrally placed meant that it was very noisy from outside.
Breakfast was fine and location was fantastic
The noise from the road was very very loud
It was central
No parking
Good location. Clean and modern.
No on site parking
Excellent location, friendly staff, beautiful small hotel in a Georgian House. We had a fantastic time, would reccomend going to Lyme Regis and staying at Lyme 1 :)
very happy with all facilities, there wasn't anything didn't like
Lovely big room, very helpful staff, good location.
Warm and stylish
Helpful responsive staff
Good location on the High Street
Very expensive parking at £16 per day!
Breakfast offer rather limited
Lots of stairs as we were on top floor
Very nicely appointed room in a good location, very clean and tidy and we liked the "breakfast in a hamper" to the room idea. The bed was very comfortable and the room itself spacious. Lyme Regis is beautiful we particularly enjoyed an evening in the Volunteer, next door, which is a proper no heirs and graces local pub and all the better for it!
Being really harsh, this did feel a little like a self service B&B in that other than one cleaner I didn't see a single member of staff for the whole time I was there. This wasn't necessarily bad, just different I guess, although perhaps did make the place feel a little less homely.
Very easy to check in. Great coffee in the rooms and the welcome chocolate a nice touch. The breakfast ordering and delivery to the room was very efficient.
No parking but there are local
JustPark options - just book well in advance.
Great location. Loved the breakfast hamper. Room lovely
The shower was a bit hit and miss. The pressure and temperature dropped. I think this was because several people in the building were showing at the same time as the shower was fine when my husband used it later.
Perfect location, lovely room with such a comfortable bed. The staff were really friendly and helpful and breakfast hamper was great. We loved it all!
