As I leave Göreme and Cappadocia, I look back at the five wonderful nights we spent at Olivia Cave Hotel—truly among the most beautiful nights of our trip. The hotel is charming, very family-friendly, and everyone there goes above and beyond to help the guests.
A special thanks to Gencay, who helped us arrange everything—from the hot air balloon to the other activities in Cappadocia. We were extremely lucky to fly the balloon on our first day, especially since it was canceled on the following days due to weather conditions. Gencay and his brother were very kind and supportive, helping calm our fears and encouraging us to take the flight—and we’re so glad we did. He was always friendly, polite, and respectful, and made us feel very welcome.
The breakfast deserves a special mention. It was a warm, family-style breakfast, freshly prepared every morning with great care. You can truly feel the homemade touch and the love behind every dish, which made each morning start in a cozy and authentic way.
I also want to mention his father, who was incredibly warm and kind. He said goodbye to us last night as if we were part of the family.
I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone I know visiting Cappadocia, and I will certainly stay here again on my next trip.

Very central location. The staff was really helpful. They booked hot air balloons for us. Nice big room. Comfortable bed and pillows. We stayed during the winter and it was warm throughout the day. The breakfast was mostly homemade and there was a big variety.
The bed was squeaky.
Although the breakfast was really good and the staff was very sweet, they need to find a way to keep the breakfast warm. Everything was cold unfortunately.

Very cozy room! The location is great, located in the center, 2 minutes walking to the convenient store, ATM, bus station and many restaurants.
It was very comfortable. The breakfasts were very tasty.

I loved that this hotel is close to restaurants and shops. I also booked the hot air balloon flight and the Green Tour with them. The staff were very nice, and on our last day they kindly kept our luggage at the reception until 7:00 pm. I definitely recommend it 🥰🥰
Tutto! Stanza e bagno stupendi, ampi e dotati di ogni comfort. Frigorifero e aria condizionata in stanza, con possibilità di usufruire della piattaforma Netflix. Personale gentilissimo, accogliente e sempre disponibile. Abbiamo prenotato tramite l’hotel il volo in mongolfiera, esperienza indimenticabile. Colazione eccezionale, a buffet e con ampia scelta (per me che sono vegana, è stata la prima volta in cui ho trovato diverse opzioni disponibili che andassero al di là di pomodori, cetrioli e olive). La sala colazioni si trova all’ultimo piano e affaccia sulla valle, con un terrazzo meraviglioso da cui poter ammirare le mongolfiere in volo. Posizione perfetta per girare il paese e arrivare a piedi all’open air museum; per le valli ovviamente occorre la macchina, ma l’ampia disponibilità di parcheggio gratuito sulla strada rende gli spostamenti molto facili, noi abbiamo sempre trovato parcheggio entro 10 metri dall’hotel. Se avessi la fortuna di riuscire a tornare a Göreme, sarebbe senza dubbio qui :)
L’unica pecca l’ho trovata sulla pulizia della biancheria del letto, poiché sollevando il lenzuolo sul coprimaterasso c’erano diversi capelli. Di certo però niente che possa compromettere la qualità del soggiorno
