Unique stay!

I slept in a pod. It's comfortable and clean with electricity. But showering and dressing is difficult. The shower is small.

An incredible stay - now my go-to property in Tel Aviv. The hotel is modern and stylish and the pods are really well designed. You are less than a minute from the beach with views from the hotel.

I found the hotel acceptable. It is a very good location on the beach, basically the best location in Tel Aviv where everybody wants to be. It is very clean, they clean all the time. Very hi-tech. You get a capsule, not a room. It is spacious enough to sleep. There are chairs, tables and a couch next to the pod area. Showers are clean. They are definitely up to date with cleanliness and security. It feels very safe. There is no free coffee but they have hot and cold water available.

We had booked into O Pod Tel Aviv 13-16 June to celebrate our tenth anniversary. We arrived in Israel 10 June and in Jerusalem on 11 June. On the night of 12 June, still in Jerusalem, the Iran-Israel War broke out, making our onward trip to Tel-Aviv impossible.

We contacted the hotel on 13 June to make a new arrangement. They undertook that we could arrange new dates for the three nights.

Of course, it was not possible to know when the war will end AND TEL AVIV WAS BOMBED EVERY NIGHT, so we could not propose new dates. Only AFTER the war and after our friends around Israel had taken care of us, was it possible to suggest new dates for our reservation.

On 26 June, we called O Pod Hotel to get new dates for our reservation. O Pod's response: "Our policy is that you are welcome to come to our hotel, but you will have to pay." We referred them to their undertaking of 13 June, repeated on 14 June, that they would, "If you want, we can change the date for tonight's reservation. Please let us know if so," (13 June). That night, Tel Aviv got heavily bombed and we remained in Jerusalem. The next day, we contacted O Pod again, and they said, "As we wrote yesterday, we can offer new dates for today's reservation," and later "You have to let us know ASAP," (14 June). All three nights were covered by these undertakings.

No amount of arguing could interest them in the fact that it was war and their city, especially, was being bombed every night. They still insisted that we had to comply with their reservations policy, stonewalling with exactly the same words each time. The increasingly heated conversation ended with my promising that they will regret this. "No problem," they said.

Their behaviour and attitude are a great shame, especially as my wife had been a guest in O Pod three years ago and had spoken very highly of the experience.

I didn’t know what to expect but I had a great experience! Clean, quiet and staff was really friendly and helpful. The hotel is located a two minute walk from the beach and there are a good amount of bus lines close to the building, even on Shabbat. I’d highly recommend this hotel!!

Nous avions réservé un pod pour deux. Nous arrivons dans le pod qui était pas propre avec des cheveux et des miettes sur le lit et les oreillers .. on nous octroie un nouveau pod qui se trouve encore plus sale avec énormément de saleté sur le sol et les matelas sont posés à même le sol. Le manager nous a ensuite replacé dans une chambre plutôt classique qui était propre et ok. Les toilettes n’étaient pas propres mais ce type d’endroit “hostel” fait que cela ne doit pas être simple à gérer durant la journée. Emplacement près des plages mais très peu de restauration autour. Merci tout de même au manager qui a su nous trouver une solution mais l’équipe de nettoyage doit être plus sérieuse même si c’est un hostel …
(Ne surtout pas être claustrophobe pour les pods c’est vraiment très petit et le casier ne peut contenir qu’une seule valise cabine, si vous êtes deux c’est compliqué …).

Pods were very cool. Laundry was very expensive though.

It is a simple hotel....clean....near the beach.

If you are older it is best to request a "lower" pod, because it is not easy climbing into the pod....

Las cápsulas estaban bien, cómoda para una noche, el problema es que nos dieron la parte de arriba y es un poco complicado subir para gente de mi edad. No recibimos los beneficios de expedia vip a pesar de solicitarlo en la recepción.

The property itself was nice, but the hotel charged more than double the hotel cost itself because I showed up at night. This is not warned on expedia and I couldn’t get a refund since it was non refundable at that time. So I had to pay an exorbitant amount. They were really stingy about the extra cost and wouldn’t budge. Terrible reception. They need to work on their hospitality skills and ethics

The bed was super cozy and comfortable, facilities were very clean and organized the veiw was extraordinary the guy at the the front desk was very nice and helpful it was an amazing experience I’m totally coming back again I loved every second

Good for the price. I don’t know her name but the first day I was there I needed a taxi to the bus station. She tried to help me get an app, but for some reason I couldn’t so she used her own app and booked the ride for me. I’ll always be thankful to her because if it weren’t for her I would’ve missed a tour to Jordan.

I definitely enjoyed my stay in The O Pod, Give it 5 stars!
It is well designed, modern, confortable and aesthetically pleasing. Guests feel welcomed and relaxed. The pods are confortable and in very good condition. The common areas such as restrooms, showers and resting areas are well-kept. On top of all these, the beach views and amazing sunsets!!!
The hotel is walking distance of Yafo, Neve Tsedek, Hacarmel market, restaurants, downtown and more. It is a great value for what they offer.
