Expensive stay for a just-adequate apartment
Pros:

Our apartment was on the 17th floor. The reception staff member was nice and efficient. The apartment was a good size with a separate bedroom and another smaller room, which seemed like it was originally a second bedroom, but which had had its second bed and door removed (we used this for storing our luggage mostly). The living room was a good size and there was a small balcony off it, but its view wasn't great as it overlooked the tops of other builds with all of their industrial A/C units. There was a bit of humming noise from these various A/C units but the double-glazed windows did a good job keeping most of this out. The bathroom was roomy and functional. The apartment's location was very good being adjacent to a lot of restaurants in Hardware Lane.

Cons:

Various things were underwheming. The cost was exorbitant (contributed to by the fact that the F1 was on). The cleanliness left a lot to be desired as there was a lot of dust present on surfaces that hadn't been wiped down in ages. As per the comment above, the balcony wasn't an attraction at all. The 2 seater lounge was very hard and uncomfortable. The TV was a bit of a nightmare. At first there was no free-to-air TV, but eventually worked out that the aerial cable had been unplugged, so fixed this. The only other viewing option was to stream from your own device to its Chromecast device, but the internet speed was so slow that streamed shows only showed in low resolution and often stopped altgether as it buffered the show. Also, its Chromecast device does not support streaming from teh Apple TV app, Of the 3 lifts present, 1 was out of action, so during busy times, there was quite a wait to get one. Very limited kitchen utensils.

There was not wardrobe in the second bedroom our friends had to come into the main room to get there clothes. Air conditioning was not in the bedrooms only in the main living area.
