Decor, even though the room was small the space was nicely furnished. The entrances landscape was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was just right.
Small rooms but great place and location.
friendly staff, especially manager. very clean. entry from street confusing....no signage, directions, doorbell etc. you are left just standing there on the street trying to find the entrance at night....not good. and, figure out how to handle your luggage. should be told in advance about additional amenity charges. should be option for internet only. need some shelf or table in bathroom because there is no place to put your stuff. a chair in the room would be nice.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, however the advertised breakfast was very bare bones. There was not even milk to put in the coffee, only non-dairy creamer, which is unhealthy and unappetizing. Only donuts, a croissant and instant oatmeal were offered (again, without milk). Yes, there were bananas and oranges.
In addition, there is no driveway to pull into, making it difficult to land at the door.
We parked our rental car in the neighborhood and arrived back in the morning to find the mirror broken. Parking at the hotel costs $30/night.
I would not choose to stay here again.
Very convenient to USC. Room was large and clean. Parking was great. Cute pool area. Friendly staff.
All the staff were delightful and helpful. The room was clean, and the neighborhood had a great soul food restaurant and a great Mexican restaurant. We ate at them both,
Such a beautiful hotel, it was really quiet and peaceful here. The beds are comfy, rooms are stunning, and it’s very centrally located (super close to the freeway). There’s an underground parking lot which makes it very convenient not having to search for street parking.
cozyness
small fridge
had to request microwave
great property, boutique feel in a busy city. Close enough to all amenities but also on a quiet street. Would recommend to others to come and stay in the future
convienent location. great staff
The location was great and just as expected. A big plus was being able to order food from Cholita, the restaurant next door, straight to the room—perfect after a long flight. The hotel and amenities were very clean. The room was spacious, modern, and well-appointed, with a super comfortable bed and a large, stylish bathroom. The overall vibe was relaxed and the air conditioning worked really well.
Service was inconsistent depending on who was at reception. I didn’t receive much information at check-in, while others did. Also, the room wasn’t very soundproof—I could hear hallway conversations and a maintenance door repeatedly slamming shut, which made it hard to sleep in, especially with jet lag.
Their continental breakfast is rather basic. Nothing continental!
Loved everything! Room was beautiful. Staff were so great and would definitely stay here again.l!!
There be times i sit and wonder
should distract myself with eyeless plunder
Then i check in mirror and align chakras
Only two will do but i ii is composed for transparency.
Sorry we're dead, but still open
For the happiest meals make it a double
Solid option! Not too much walkable but clean, cute boutique.
It was all good except very noisy outside traffic in the early morning woke me up.
Really nice hotel in a funky neighborhood.
