Cons:

The check in was a disaster, the room I entered was dirty and messy from the former guests and they moved me to another room (after they let me wait for hours because there were “no rooms”. They lost my suitcase and the most terrible thing was the noisy air condition that waked me up every 30 minutes when it’s started after pausing.

The place to be
Pros:

Gorgeous place in a quaint, quieter part of Manhattan. Richard at the front desk was so helpful and quick. He helped me speed through check in and get settled in. Room was clean and well cared for.

The location was great. The room and the hotel clean and modern look. The staff nice.

Cons:

The only thing I asked was a late check out cause my flight was delayed. They changed it from 12 to 13… didnt work for me.

Great location for walking - easy access to subways. Staff were very helpful. Comfy beds and room.

Request highest floors for views of NYC - I was only on floor 11 - very limited view. But not in room very much anyway

From bad to good.
Pros:

We arrived during a computer system transition and were initially placed in a room with two double beds (as a couple). When we called to switch, we were told they couldn't move us that night, so my wife and I had to share a double bed. It was not ideal.

However, the next day—once the system update was finished—the staff moved us to a room with a king bed and everything was great from then on. The housekeeping staff was helpful throughout our stay, and the front desk team was excellent in resolving our initial situation. A huge thank you to Daria, Manuel, and Adrian for their help.

Hilton Motto Chelsea - NYC First-Timers!
Pros:

This Hilton property was perfectly situated for all of our first-timer NYC planned activities. We walked, or used the hotel-provided bikes, to get bagels, corned beef, take the Circle line ferry, visit the Empire State Building, Times Square, and more.

The staff here is very personable and happy to spend time helping you with your plans.

The only drawbacks to our stay at this property were the salespeople in the lobby selling Hilton grand vacations each afternoon, and near-continuous noise for hours at a time due to our room (ending in 01) being located next to the VERY loud housekeeping and maintenance rooms.

Would highly recommend to all NYC first timers!

Top tier staff and great hotel
Pros:

Front desk staff was amazing at check in! Shout out to Dana, Richard, Omar and Brittney! Hotel is very nice overall. Rooms are great. Would definitely stay again especially cause the staff was so nice and accommodating!
