Room size

Rooms are tres small
Actually really clean and new feeling
The security is good, makes you feel safe and that it feels 24/7. Location is decent and staff are friendly.
The rooms were very clean and a great size for New York. There were 2 double beds in the room which were comfortable and they had large drawers under the bed should you wish to unpack. There was also space under the beds to store luggage as well, again, should you wish. One bed had 2 drawers while the other bed has a safe in one of the drawers. The shower was lovely and spacious and the products in the shower smelled lovely! We had amazing views of the New York skyline from our room.
The lifts are frustrating. There are 4 lifts but they take forever to arrive and there were a couple of times where it felt like it stopped at every single floor despite the lift being full - and we were on the 41st floor. There are no separate service lifts, so you share the lifts with hotel staff that are getting to different floors. This wasn't a dislike per se, but I can imagine it is frustrating for them. The receptionists, while they did answer all the questions we had, were not the most warm and welcoming. There are no phones on the floors which means that you cannot call down to reception. Our key didn't work when we got back to the room one day and had to go all the way back down to reception to have the key re-activated.
