Cons:

The elevator situation needs improving. We spent sometimes 10-15 minutes going down from the 36th floor. Picking up the great housekeeping staff made this really challenging. They were wonderful and gracious. Could you give them one of the three elevators during house keeping time?

Well located and fantastic view.
Pros:

Booked a Landmark view room on the 32nd floor for six nights and it was worth every penny. The extraordinary view made up for the well planned but tiny room. The linens were exchanged daily and the room was very clean. There was complimentary coffee in the lobby every morning at designated hours and a daily credit for some food/drink items. There was an onsite service that booked airport transportation. This location met our needs as it was close to a metro station and close to neighborhoods we wanted to walk to.

Cons:

1. The room windows don’t open so one must rely exclusively on the climate system that could be noisy when it went on.

2. We had trouble with the hot water in the shower and sink. Early in the morning we had to run the water up to 5 minutes to get hot water in the shower. We were never able to get hot water in the sink even after reporting it to the staff who sent up an engineer. Our bill was partially adjusted for this problem.

Pros:

Perfect location, clean rooms and very nice restaurant/bar

Cons:

Rooms are not big, we were traveling with a 1 year old and unfortunately in the evening the bar/restaurant can be quite busy plus we didn't have a good experience with the room service 🤷

View was fantastic and the room was really spacious. Aside from a small hiccup at check in, the staff were fantastic and really friendly. Location absolutely perfect for being able to access all areas of manhattan easily, with it also being simple to get the train to / from JFK.

Cons:

We stayed 4 nights and there were two days in a row where housekeeping didn’t visit our room (although one of the perks of the room we had was 2 free water bottles each day, which weren’t replenished on those days). However, as soon as we flagged this to reception, they arranged for housekeeping to visit our room which was great.
