Das Hotel und der Aufenthalt waren für uns absolut perfekt. Alles ist modern eingerichtet und die Lage super zentral im Dorf. Vom Checkin (Thomas war super freundlich und aufmerksam!) bis Checkout waren wir rundum glücklich. Besonders zu erwähnen ist, wie extrem Hundefreundlich das Hotel ist, wir durften unsere Bolonka Hündin überall (sogar zum Frühstücken) mitnehmen (Spa ausgenommen) und sie war überall gern gesehen. Das Personal war uns gegenüber immer sehr aufmerksam, freute sich über den Hund und bot auch sofort immer Wasser an. Es wurden super Tipps für hundefreundliche Restaurants auch außerhalb des Hotels gegeben, sowie schöne Spazierrouten. Wir waren total happy und kommen gerne wieder!
Lediglich das Licht in den Zimmern ist etwas dunkel und sicher Geschmacksache - uns hat es aber nicht weiter gestört.
One of our best stays in Europe- we have had the best few days staying at the Bergwelt and exploring Grindelwald, from the other hotels we seen we think this is by far the best hotel in Grindelwald. Breakfast was included in the rate of the room and was fab, so much selection and choice from salmon and cottage cheese, cereals and greek yogurt or a hot breakfast with champagne. The spa facilities are literally gorgeous with the view of the mountains, you can use as many times as you want but need to book 90-minute slots for the jacuzzi and sauna but there is lots of availability and it’s nice that’s it’s exclusive to only a handful of people. Hotel is interior designed perfectly, it is gorgeous and fits the vibe of the alps so well and is very clean. When we return to grindelwald we will definitely stay here again, staff were so helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble. Gorgeous view from the balcony, I even seen a little family of deers in the snow- enjoying the complimentary snacks and soft drinks in the room. Could not recommend more and great location to the train station (less than 10 min walk) and first (less than 5 min walk).
You need to try Eiger Bean which is a 5 min walk from the hotel and is the most beautiful coffee location.

Leider hat uns dieses ‚luxus Hotel‘ sehr entäuscht. Wir waren bereits in vielen Wellnes Resorts, jedoch war dies das schlechteste. Wir wollten Wellness Urlaub 3 Tage machen, konnten aber den Spa nur 90 Minuten benutzen.
Das Zimmer war extrem schmutzig und es roch stark nach Kanalisation. Überall Kalkflecken. Zur Krönung funktionierte der Wasserstrahl der Dusche nicht. Als Frau Haare waschen funktioniert so nicht. Anscheinend wäre das normal meinte der Hausmeister. Ebenfalls war in unserer Kaffemaschine im Wasserbehälter noch starke Rückstände von Entkalker (giftig für Menschen). Hätte ich es nicht gemerkt wüsste ich nicht was passiert ist.
Das Restaurant war eine Katastrophe. Wir zahlen gerne Preise für gutes Essen und ordentliche Portionen. Jedoch waren die Portionen so klein und lieblos und das für 90.- pro Person. Das Wasser (Hahnenwasser) kostete 10.- pro Flasche. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis überhaupt nicht gewährleistet.
Wir können das Hotel in keinster Weise empfehlen ausser das die Mitarbeiter freundlich waren.

Beautiful junior suite. staff were amazing and the indoor pool and outdoor jacuzi were amazing! And timings were flexible to use outdoor jacuzi. Room and views were incredible and staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast also was nice and good quality food. Free shuttle to and from station was offered. A beautiful resort overall loved it and gave us free champagne and treats for our honeymoon.
