Alam Wayang Ubud

This was a lovely Hotel staff lovely and friendly the pool lovely we had breakfast a part of the deal limited. The room where great private little garden. Love the bathroom. The only downside to this if you have any walking aid this would not been the hotel for you. There are many step to walk down or up. I walk with a stick and found it hard. There is transport from the hotel to the they coffee stop where you can get a taxi from. We had trouble with our phone and could use them. But if you are not affect by this great hotel.

Had a great view days at Alam. It a great location beig just 1km out of town on a hill. No direct car access, but this was fine as we walked down to the main road then into Ubud. Found we could get from the new Bintang supermarket via the walkway systems. Next time would ask for a room further back from the front of the resort as we could here the scooters.

We stayed 2 and a half weeks and enjoyed every moment. The staff were wonderful, very discreet and nothing was too much trouble for them. It is a little gem, tucked away from all the noise but in easy reach of all Ubud has to offer. We loved it and will certainly be returning again.

Perfect place to stay in Ubud! Quiet location but only a 10 min walk to the main area. Staff were very helpful, the room was lovely and clean, beautiful pool. Note the hotel location is actually where hastina restaurant is pinned on google maps. The google maps location is for the drop off point with the buggy, which was a great option if you didn't use a scooter!

super unterkunft und personal ! wir hatten einmal einen gekko im zimmer und konnten für eine nacht sofort wechseln ohne probleme.

접근성이 황당해요. 골목 안쪽에 있어서 버깃카로 움직여야하고 걸을땐 엄청나게 좁고 가파른 계단을 많이 오르락내리락 해야해요. 근처에 식당이나 편의시설이
하나도 없어서 늘 멀리 걸어나가거나 택시 불러야 하는데 택시 타는데까지 버깃으로 다녀야하니 불편이 너무 커요. 그리고 욕실이 야외에요 ㅋㅋ 엄청 덥고 모기, 개미 득실거려요. 아침식사도 뷔페 아니에요. 직원들은 친절하네요. 다시 가고 싶은 마음 없어요.

We had an amazing stay at Alam Wayang. Stunning property, nice facilities. Food and breakfast was great. Massage was amazing! Would definitely recommend. The pool closed a bit early but no other downsides!!

Superb boutique resort, absolutely loved the location.
Extremely quiet area of Ubud, but walking distance to centre of town and many attractions if you don't mind the Penestanan stairs.
Several other excellent dining options nearby.
The gardens are absolutely stunning, excellent pool and beautiful rooms.
The staff were wonderful. THANK YOU for a wonderful stay.

Just back from another fabulous stay at Alam Wayang. Such a lovely resort and everything you need on your doorstep for a self managed ‘retreat’.

The staff was amazing, property beautiful. Rooms awesome only thing is there are a lot of steps to walk down to the main road it was fine for me and my daughter but wouldn’t be fine for someone out of shape since they were fairly steep We loved it all though and will be back

Great Villa, excellent friendly staff.

The staff was super helpful, going beyond the call of duty... particularly Kartika was a gem, highly professional, kind and helpful. The room/ mini-villa & breakfast choices were also great, exceeding my expectations. The property is in an interesting, soulful area. Would easily come again, great vibes.

We love the lush greens and well maintained gardens.

It was an amazing experience, the room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The bath was so good! Highly recommend for solo or couples.

Very quiet and peaceful, but still close to Ubud town for different sights and activities. Walking is via some steps which are a bit challenging in the heat, or taxi bikes can take you to the hotel (I only walked so I don't know the cost).

All of the staff were so friendly and helpful, and it was easy to arrange activities and transport with their help.

The food was pleasant, breakfast is very nice.

I had a massage at the hotel spa a couple of times and it was very good.

We couldn’t go to hotel lobby by car.
We didn’t see any staff when we reached the point .even we called but nobody picked up the phone, finally our diver ran to hotel and asked them to pick up.
Staff were friendly but the hotel wasn’t nice as I expected.
However, I’m definitely to choose better one next time if I travel to Ubud. This building rate in Hotels.com is high, but overrated.

We had a wonderful stay at Alam Wayan. The villa was lovely and the resort pool just fabulous. It’s close to two beautiful yoga studios and great good options.
