We arrived at the fabulous Capital Hotel Friday afternoon to check-in, but soon realized we did not have reservations as we thought we did.The expert reservationist Matt Nunn worked some magic and found us two rooms despite the hotel being sold out due to the wedding we were in town for. Thank you thank you! Matt was so professional and calm while working quickly to make things work out. I also enjoyed speaking to Matt about the history of this wonderful building. The Capital Hotel is a true gem and Matt Nunn is one of its many treasures!
Luxurious old world charm
You must accommodate customers with walk in showers. ITS A MUST. Too much liability to have customers stepping into a tub. Hatred that part of my experience
We stayed here for one night. The hotel is lovely inside and the staff was great. They have the largest elevator for passengers I have seen in a hotel. We were in a superior king room and it was very spacious and comfortable. There was also a small fridge and a nespresso coffee maker with pods. They have valet parking (a little expensive). Breakfast was good in the restaurant but on the expensive side. We ate dinner at Bruno's LIttle Italy which is about a 2 block walk. We really enjoyed that meal. There is also a breakfast place next door to Bruno's if you want an option to the hotel restaurant.
Beautiful lobby, beautiful rooms. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Quick room service. Would be happy to stay here again.
Aa beautiful Hotel. It felt classy and elegant from the moment you pulled up. the front desk people were warm and welcoming, the Bellman was so polite and helpful and the bartender was excellent. It was just a total lovely experience!
There was nothing that we didn't enjoy!
From the moment you walk into the hotel, you realize you are entering a beautifully designed hotel from yesteryear. It reminds me of the Willard, with its antiques and welcoming team. My suite is adorned with antiques, plenty of sitting room, a work desk and more. The king bed gave me an enjoyable night’s sleep. Located conveniently in downtown Little Rock and only 15 minutes from the airport, it is perfect if you are looking for luxury and convenience.
Comfortable, staff was polite and kind.
No hot water. The bath, shower, and sinks had no hot water. It was challenging to take a Cold shower on our anniversary. But we managed.
I'm from NYC and travel quite a bit and this is the most beautiful and pleasant hotel I've ever been to. My wife always tells me I find something to complain about and there was not a thing I could. I jokingly told Stephen, the first person you will meet when you check in, that my only complaint was that there weren't any of their wonderful pecans for sale in the room and he handed me a little can of them. If you're going to Little Rock don't even consider booking one of the luxury chain hotels, this is an experience you will never forget.
Well-appointed, classic building in downtown, Little Rock
Phone in room didn’t work. In room dining was average - not cooked to proper temps, no salt and pepper, request for extra syrup wasn’t met, coffee was room temp - on New Year’s morning. They just missed on the little things
everybody was so nice and it was so clean and it was so quaint and I love the history
nothing
This was the nicest and most comfortable hotel I have ever stayed in. I have traveled extensively in the US and to a lesser extent worldwide. This place took me completely by surprise in the best possible way. It is stunning! Additionally, the service was phenomenal. I know my room was reset and cleaned at least twice/day during my stay, but I never saw a person. It was like magic. The doorman and the concierge were friendly and helpful. I hope I have the opportunity to return
