Cons:

They put us in a room where the trash was picked up every morning outside and it was super Duper loud and there was a problem with the air-conditioning and a maintenance closet right outside of our room that was super noisy in the morning

Pros:

The pool and lazy river. All the play areas were nice as well.

Cons:

The room could’ve been a little cleaner, there was hairs in the shower and dust under tables. Some areas could use some attention as far as cleaning!

Overall disappointed
Pros:

This was our 4th time staying at the lodge. We have loved this place every other time. Something was very different this time. We arrived at 7am to check in after a 9 hour long car ride. We booked for the night knowing we would be checking in at an off time but we prefer to drive through the night and then check in for a few hours of sleep. We weren’t able to get any rest when we arrived. We were given a room on the 3rd floor with a beautiful view….not for long. We unloaded our stuff and our 3 sleepy kids. We found out very quickly that what appeared to be a clean room was actually extremely gross. We found a severely stained set of sheets/pillow case and comforter. Some spots on the pillow case were definitely blood. The sheets and comforter were stained with ketchup, blood or something else that was red. I started pulling bedsheets to check the whole place and found kids toys between the bed and wall. If the sheets had been changed they would have been found. Also a tag out of someone’s swim suit, a sucker stick on the ground, several large hairballs, multiple toenail clippings, and unknown stains on the walls and the canvas curtains to the kids room. It was disgusting. We had to pack the luggage carrier back up and move our stuff to another room. It was cleaner but we still had to have them come clean toothpaste etc off of the bathroom counter and there were boogers on the wall by the large mirror. We were given the good ol “sorry” and offered $75 for the trouble. And$100 arcade credit. Sorry but that’s not enough. The pool area was dirty. Lots of cups, garbage, and food plates everywhere. The garbages were overflowing. Unfortunately the wait staff could barely speak English. Just not the same margaritaville we have been used to. We needed housekeeping to come 2 days later. They completely skipped our room.
So we had to go down and ask for a freshen up and new towels. They sent someone to come straighten up the bed and bring new towels.
