Unauthorized entry into my room despite a Do Not Disturb sign, shifting excuses, no accountability, and unclean HVAC uni

Location was relatively convenient.

Cons:

The most serious issue was that staff entered my room despite my clearly displayed Do Not Disturb sign while I was away. No housekeeping services were performed, yet my room was accessed anyway, representing a blatant violation of privacy and hotel policy.

Rather than acknowledging this serious breach regardless of what was ultimately taken and taking full responsibility, the responses I have received have consisted of shifting and inconsistent explanations rather than clear accountability.

The only member of management I have been able to speak with has been the General Manager, and she has remained courteous and respectful throughout our conversations, which I appreciate. However, being polite and handling a situation appropriately are not the same thing. Even after I specifically reported that my ring was missing and explained that I was still trying to determine what else had been taken because several of my belongings had been moved around, I was later told there was “nothing to report as specifically missing at this time.” That statement was difficult to reconcile, as I had already identified a missing item and made it clear that I needed additional time to inventory my belongings for accuracy.

When I later called to report that the AirTag from the missing item was still showing as being on the hotel property and asked that it be addressed, I was again told it would not be handled until the following day. I appreciate that one person cannot be expected to handle everything alone.

However, repeatedly being transferred from one person to another, sometimes in the middle of a sentence without even being told who I was speaking with, only added to the frustration and left me feeling that no one was taking ownership of the situation.

To make matters worse, my missing bag has still not been recovered.
