Nice accommodations - uncomfortable check in
Pros:

The room was nice. The decor was super cute. The bed was comfy. It was also very quiet in our room. I was led to believe the hotel was full so for us not to hear any outside noise was nice. We spent some time in the bar. The bartender was attentive and the drinks were good.

Cons:

We arrived at 4pm which was check in time. We were told our room was not ready, but we were checked in and told to go to the bar, and they would text us when our room was ready. We were given 2 free drink tickets which was a nice touch. While we were checking in, I heard other guests approach the desk to ask if their rooms were ready and they were told "no, just wait for the text to alert you" so we went to the bar and sat for what we thought would be 15 minutes or so. After 2 hours of sitting in the bar, I took my suitcase to the lobby bathroom to change for dinner as we had reservations to get to. As I was entering the bathroom a hotel employee (front desk person I believe) was leaving the bathroom. I made a comment "gotta get dressed somewhere". The employee asked my last name and I told her. She actually stated my first name after I told her my last name. She told me she would check on our room and get back to me. I proceeded to get dressed as I wasn't sure how fast things would transpire. My phone rang about 15 minutes later and I was asked if we had a reservation?? I said yes and was asked for my confirmation number which I had. I gave it to the employee and then was told our room was ready. I'm not sure what happened that caused our 2 hour plus wait for room or why I was asked if I had a reservation after we were checked in over 2 hours prior. I do know we were re-checked in even though we had been checked in at 4pm. But the thing that really bothered me was there was no apology from anyone at the hotel.
We did enjoy our stay after that point. I may give the hotel another try in the future but there are a lot of options in OKC.

Exceptional hotel in the heart of Nichols hill.
Pros:

My husband and I both agree the shower was exceptional. My husband described it as a hug. It was also very beautiful. The whole hotel feels like a hidden gem in the middle of OKC.

Cons:

We had some cocoa that tasted like sludge. It was free and was who knows how old but it is what it is.

Pros:

The building and lobby area was absolutely beautiful. The pool deck was luxurious and had a good view. The room was very clean and comfortable and attention to detail was taken with lighting and bathroom fixtures.

Hard to beat in OKC
Pros:

This is a really excellent hotel. It is comfortable, well furnished, located in a nice area with things in easy reach by walking, and has a restaurant featuring good renditions on Oklahoma cuisine plus cocktails. We'd stay again.

Cons:

I wish the pool stayed open later.
