Front desk staff was very helpful and nice. Room was beautiful and comfortable bed. Wish i could have stayed longer to enjoy the property.
Check-in was confusing due to payment from Expedia only showing as 1 room was payed for staff then took another payment which needed refunded as whole payment was actually paid! It was also a 50th wedding anniversary night which I advised hotel about and they responded to me but didn’t acknowledge this event at all - rooms were beautiful and view was perfect
Mooi hotel op een prachtige plaats. Helaas kun je niet zwemmen in de zee maar de vele zwembaden maken dit zeker goed.

This property is great for a few peaceful nights. The pools are great, breakfast is great and the sushi is first class. If you are travelling into or from Durban airport it is only a 15 minute drive which is amazing. It is in a complex and you have to drive to go anywhere so it’s more of a ‘stay at as a destination’ as opposed to a ‘stay as a base to travel from’ hotel
Aufenthalt war alles in allem ok. Das Abendessen im Restaurant war hervorragend. Unser Zimmer war sauber, könnte aber langsam eine Auffrischung gebrauchen.

Das Hotel ist Teil eines weitläufigen, mehrere Quadratkilometer großen, sehr gut abgesicherten Resorts.
Unser Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk mit fantastischem Meerblick war sehr sauber und geräumig.
Der Service an der Rezeption ist sehr gut und freundlich.
Das Frühstücksbuffet besticht durch seine Vielfalt, Eierspeisen werden frisch auf der Pfanne zubereitet.
Allerdings lässt der Service beim Frühstück sehr zu Wünschen übrig. Es gibt zwar sehr viele Mitarbeiter, aber viele stehen bevorzugt am Tresen und unterhalten sich miteinander beziehungsweise laufen mit leerem Tablett durch die Gegend. Zahlreiche kleine Kinder springen am Buffet herum oder wühlen darin. Das muss man abstellen!
Dagegen ist der Service am Abend zum Dinner im gleichen Restaurant ganz hervorragend!

I felt at home and everyone was so friendly and helpful. A pity the gate to the beach was closed.
Room stank of smoke. Basin in room was in shocking state, toilet did not flush properly. Food in restaurants stupidly OVER-PRICED. Breakfast spread was good but again STUPIDLY OVER-PRICED.
Friendly and professional service
Hotel staff and management were friendly and happy to engage a newly married couple who spent their honeymoon night at this hotel. The views, room and the atmosphere were lovely and befitting for such an occasion.
Exceptional service, something that is hard to come by these days in local hotels.
A hotel that also keeps up with the times… there’s a Smart TV in the room which was amazing, in room dining can be ordered through your cellphone (amazing), what more could one ask for?
Service was also fantastic at the Copper restaurant with a wide selection of breakfast options.
Only disappointment was The Firerroom restaurant. Was too noisy and busy, service wasn’t great and food was expensive but didn’t live up to price.
Well done to the hotel for the fantastic up keep, great service and comfort. I will definitely be coming back soon!

The service at the restaurant was outstanding as well as the access gates to Zimbali. However housekeeping fell short of expectations. Room wasn't properly cleaned and the amenities not replenished. We returned to our room after 10pm on Saturday to a room smelling of damp. The dstv didn't work properly in both rooms. We reported it. It remained unresolved until we checked out.
So the quality of the hotel service doesn't match the star rating which is unfortunate.
Enjoyed staying here my family loved it, the only issue was the entrance at the gate with the codes.
Breakfast and golf is good.
From start to finish everything was outstanding!
Access to the property was an issue. The property is in a gated community however there seems to be little or no communication with the security who initially refused me entry even after showing the booking. The security was less than helpful. After 20 minutes arguing at the gate I finally manage to access- not a good start. The property itself is spectacular with friendly staff
Check in started well then I handed in my debit card for
an imprint to cover extra bills
Ordered room service good food then the 2nd time
I ordered a meal I \was told by the room service waiter that
I had no credit I was told by the young Lady at reception
oh we assumed that you would pay each time with
cash of credit card insufficient public relations training
she did bring the machine up to my room and offered an apology which was accepted
I understand that fraud happens quite a lot in South Africa and elsewhere the whole situation could to have been handled better if staff were taught to think a little bit more out of the box
Breakfast were very varied and staff very helpful but
being asked 3 times is everything okay over the top
