8.8
Rooms are frequently described as clean and spotlessly maintained, though a few guests reported heavy smoke odor in one room and one incident with breakfast packaging making a mess.
Service
9.7
Multiple reviews praise the staff as attentive, helpful and efficient (easy check-in, shuttle coordination via WeChat, staff assisted with requests).
Location
8.3
Very close to the airport with convenient shuttle and nearby metro, but some guests noted external noise from a nearby station and limited local activities/remote feel for city sightseeing.

Rooms reported as spacious, nearly new and comfortable with good AC and water pressure; minor negatives include lack of an in-room refrigerator for some guests and occasional smoke smell.

Good practical amenities for airport travelers: reliable free shuttle, luggage scale in lobby, decent breakfast setup, coffee machine, small shop nearby; some amenities limited (pool opening hours, no fridge in rooms).
Value for Money
8
Generally good value for an airport stay, especially for late arrivals, though several guests noted there are cheaper nearby hotels offering similar shuttle services.
Food and Beverage
7.8
Breakfast offers variety and acceptable options (some guests enjoyed the coffee), but several reviews mention it is carb-heavy, low on protein and one report described a poorly handled takeaway breakfast incident.
Overall Experience

Habitaciones y hotel tipo pero mucho ruido externo.
Pros:

El trato delnpersonal

Cons:

El ruido exterior de la estacion que está en frente del hotel. La ubicación está bastante alejada del aeropuerto...mitad de camino, merece la pena quedarse en Chongqing, al menos puedes cenar.

A Reliable Choice
Pros:

Holiday Inn Express Airport Zone worked very well for our late-night arrival. The airport shuttle was much appreciated, and communicating with the shuttle driver via WeChat made it easy for him to locate us. Check-in was also quick and easy. Our room was spacious, almost brand new and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable, and both the water pressure and air conditioning were good. All I really wanted when I arrived in Chongqing in the wee hours of the morning was a quick shower and to get straight into bed, and this hotel served that purpose perfectly. The coffee machine at breakfast produced a surprisingly robust cup of coffee, which I enjoyed. After breakfast, we had no problems getting a DiDi into the city. In the lobby, they have a weighing scale for your luggage, a practical and thoughtful touch.

Cons:

The breakfast buffet had a reasonable variety, but it consisted mainly of high-carb dishes and was lacking in protein. Also, note that there are local hotels in the vicinity which also offer shuttle service, and are highly rated, but cost far less. But we are very happy with our choice.

Pros:

Location is good, rooms tidy. Staff speak some English! I was pleased to find walking proximity to a beautiful park, which is unexpected for an airport hotel. This made for a lovely morning walk.

Cons:
