Just be aware it's slightly out of Cambridge city centre.
Very comfortable rooms. Warm, friendly welcome.
Unfortunately their airconditioning wasn't working at the time of my visit. However, they were suitably proactive and offered a free breakfast.

New one
Not clean
I't is out of town hotel close to Girton college. Location is fine
A/C was broken in the hottest day of the year, can't open windows and they rang out of fans. Chaos.
You arrive at 3pm, and they say your room is ready, but to check in before 4, you need to pay 30 pounds for early check in. It's fine to have a late check in, but to charge when the room is ready is greedy and unjustified, i have not seen that anywhere.
Some rooms are tiny.
Many things don't work (switches, buttons etc...).
They had a great cocktail bar (Dutch), management sit it down to make another pointless "lounge'.
Trendy
The air conditioning did not work, very uncomfortable sleep during UK heatwave
Location. Room layout etc
Staff were unhelpful
Check in was 3 hours late
AC was broken, no advanced warning
I booked a three-night stay at this hotel for my parents. While the first two nights were satisfactory, the experience on the third night was completely unacceptable.
The shower drain in their room was completely blocked. During every shower, the water failed to drain, causing it to back up across the bathroom floor with bubbles coming up from the drain. This is clearly a maintenance issue that should never have been overlooked.
What was even more disappointing was the way the situation was handled by reception. When my parents reported the problem, they were told that they could use the bathroom in another room to shower and then walk back across the corridor to sleep in their original room. I find it difficult to understand how anyone could consider this an appropriate solution, particularly for guests who are nearly 70 years old. Expecting elderly guests to move between rooms after showering is both inconvenient and unreasonable.
It was only after my parents repeatedly insisted that the receptionist finally agreed to move them to another room. Although my parents are not native English speakers, that should never have affected the level of service they received. A room change should have been offered immediately once it became clear that the bathroom was unusable.
To make matters worse, the original room they were allocated was of a poor standard, lacking even basic furniture such as a proper table and chairs.
This experience fell well below the standard I expect from any hotel. The maintenance issue was unacceptable, but the poor handling of the complaint was even more disappointing. I would expect a hotel to show greater professionalism, empathy, and respect towards all guests, regardless of their language abilities.
The location was brilliant, and the surrounding area was well equipped
The air con was broken, and in a heat wave with a 8month old baby, despite requesting a fan, one wasn't provided. Our room also backed onto the courtyard, and due to the weather we needed to keep our windows open, which proved noisy due to the restaurants in the courtyard playing music until late and a number of parties being loud
The uncertainty of not knowing whether I was going to get get a room with air-conditioning or not in an outdoor temperature of 34 degrees 🙃
How it was my 3rd time of staying within 2 years and the air conditioning is still not working.!
It was clean and really lovely decorated.
Lovely terrace area
There was no cutlery or plates etc? But a kitchenette.
