Staff was really nice and friendly
Only stayed 1 night but would definitely stay again! The twin room was very nice, bathroom good and pretty quiet so a good night sleep. Bar and restaurant area very nice and the carvery was lovely and reasonably priced, staff helpful and polite. thank you
Room was a bit dated quilt was too thin food was good but didn't do a full breakfast only a breakfast box the bar shut at 9 pm on the Monday and 8 .30pm on the Tuesday car park is massive staff was nice
Beds was cosy comfortable, and the food was really good, shame was little to nosy especially in the morning.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
People were lovely, really helpful. We are in the restaurant Sunday night; food & service were good. The room was good.. it's just a little older / dated. The shower was run from the bath tap so temperature was temperamentalbshowere curtain rather than by
A little run down, not enough staff and no breakfast yet they do dinner
Hotel looks shabby from the outside, decor inside really dated, but is made up for with the quality of the food and friendly service.
Dirty carpets. Too many 'plug in the wall' air fresheners. Bread being kept in an old bird avery at the rear. The room we stayed in was tired. Paint peeling on the radiator, curtains too small.
Would not stay again.
Room was clean and bed comfortable. Good parking space and location to visit nearby areas.
Friendly clean place, no lift for top floor.
Room comfortable, food and service very good, plenty of parking.
A freezing cold building worn out decor, they switch the heating off late into the night.
The restaurant was poor, poorly prepped and inedible
Friendly staff. Rooms look brand new, refurbished recently. Food is good too!
Last minute change of plans meant i needed something simple for one night and this place did more than that. Very accomodating, well priced, recently refurbished by looks of it. Very warm, good facilitates and exactly what was needed. Plenty more that i didnt take advantage of such as the bar and restaurant but maybe another time.
Enjoyed the one night stay with my grandson.Would have liked a better more comprehensive menu for our evening meal
Really nice hotel. Lovely contemporary room. Unsuitable for me as I am travelling by public transport. I thought I could walk to coast (~4 miles?) but I couldn't cross the very busy dual carriageway outside. Lovely terraces in the front ruined by traffic noise. Had to use taxi to get there as was further from town or bus stop than I realised when i booked.
Really easy to check in even late at night. Our room was a twin & it was just big enough. Bathroom was clean & shower hot. The beds were so so comfy! Toiletries & tea & coffee in the room.
Only negative was the view from the room was horrible but it is set amongst industrial estates etc so was not expecting a beautiful view but it was like scruffy wasteland and rooftops.
Lovely clean room, looked like it had just been decorated. Friendly staff and good food.
