It would be perfect if you’re looking for rustic. Dishes in the cabinets and silverware weren't clean, the pillows smelled dank but it may have been from previous fireplace usage. Staff was okay but not personable.
This would be a good hunters spot.
The power to half of our chalet went out within the first five minutes of checking in so the loft and the bedroom were without heat the first night we were there. The electric fireplace in the living room did not work as the switch was showing small sparks and would not stay on. We decided not to try to use it our entire stay. There was no hand soap or dish soap available when we checked in, and no extra stock of toilet paper. All in all it was an okay stay, but the extra touches would've made it a good stay. It was convenient for the purposes we required.
The staff is the best part about this resort.
The rooms are out dated and dirty. They do have a fireplace inside the room, along with a small heater. Convenient place to stop on our way. Probably would be a better winter destination.
The room was clean and cute, and we really enjoyed our one night. We will stay here again!
This was a nice, big cabin, could have slept 5+ people. Full kitchen. Bed was pretty comfy. The toilet ran off and on which was annoying, and overall it was in decent repair. Not luxury but that's not what I was going for. If in this area I would stay again, but it's not very close to activities that I'm into, so not sure I'll be back.
Great location for me
Super easy check in and out, friendly staff. Our unit could have been cleaner and needed some maintenance. Several light fixtures had no on/off;, had to plug and unplug from electrical outlet; tub/shower drain needed cleaned so drained poorly.
There are very few properties in the are around Crater Lake, and from the looks of others we passed, this was the best option. Still, it was very dated and worn for the price. One restaurant and a small drive thru close by, and a convenience store across the street. Looked much better in the listing. Front desk person and housekeeping staff were friendly.
Besides, having to pay an extra five dollars for good Internet, it was perfect
Fancy
Easy drive to Crater Lake.
This was a good place for the night traveling with kids. We only stayed 1 night. There was plenty of room and beds for everyone, and a full kitchen. The younger kids loved the loft and we loved being in the woods in our own cabin. The only downside was the bed in the bedroom was hard and the carpet had a slight dirty smell. Some air conditioning would be awesome in these little cabins. We just opened the windows while we slept. This was a fun change to the normal hotel experience.
This was such a nasty place that we checked out early. Mouse droppings, dirty blankets etc.
Quite
Took the family to Crater Lake and wanted a place to stay somewhat close. Did my research and saw Willamette Pass Inn was close to our favorites Odell Lake and Crescent Lake. It was a no brainer. Nice locals and much needed close by store. The room was fine and pretty spacious. The one drawback for me being 6’5” the chairs were not comfortable but oh well. Thank you for everything and keep on keeping on!
The toilet and sink are so old, there are grime mark on them. The couch is not clean.
Rustic feeling was nice. Wood burning fireplace was great, and firewood was provided. Bathroom was clean.
Silverware was lacking in number. Coffee pot needed scrubbing. Kitchenette needs an overhaul. The lighting was dim.
This motel is dirty and was practically deserted when we stayed there. We were nervous using the laundry room on our road trip because the woman at the front desk told us they had had problems in the past with people who aren’t patrons of the hotel using the room so they have a sign saying it is locked at night though it isn’t.
The floor all over our cabin was super dirty with debris everywhere and the pillows were dirty and my head was itchy laying on them (not something I typically experience). The bed was crappy and squeaky. I couldn’t wait to get out of there in the morning and would never stay there again.
Right up the road is a lakefront hotel called Odell’s that we found for dinner and it looked much more well run and around the same price point. I would definitely stay there next time I’m passing through. I’d stay far away from this place.
The hotel I booked was supposed to be a non-smoking room, yet it reeked of cigarette smoke. There was trash left outside the hotel, and cigarette butts. The towels were like rags, and the toilet and toilet seat was filthy. I have photos documenting all of this. I would have preferred to request a refund, but the Orbitz representative was unable to assist me. As a result, I will be disputing this charge with my credit card company and, unfortunately, will no longer be using Orbitz in the future.
Cute set up. Could hear every movement from neighbors & outside.
