Nice room but poor context.
Pros:

The nightmare of the rude valet staff and difficulty dropping and picking up luggage means I will never stay at this hotel again. I have tried it three times and all three times the valet staff and difficulty arriving and departing completely unnerved me. The front desk staff is not great either. The staff and ease at Grand Hyatt FAR EXCEED Hyatt Centric and that is where I will stay in the future - I stayed one night at each place on this trip.

Cons:

Terrible valet staff on repeated visits. Extreme difficulty with arrival and departure. Homeless people smoking crack within steps of hotel.

Cleanliness and location.

Cons:

The front desk advised that a security deposit was needed on top of the fee paid. It did not state this on Booking.com. They also stated that as soon as I paid security deposit that once I checked out that it would be refunded back to my card. I called Hyatt Centric and was told it would be 7days before refunded. Very disappointing with that. Also, parking was horrible for the facility. Everything else was good.
