The breakfast was perfect good choice of hot and cold foods and beverages
The room was unbearably hot. No air con or fan.
The pillows hard and flat. The beds very small doubles.
The curtains were full of moth holes and the room needed a few holes in door and walls filling, doors painting some general updating.
Carparking requires attention too, with such a large hotel parking is insufficient.
The staff are so helpful and respectful they were a pleasure to deal with.
We are concerned for this hotel, now the Premier Inn is being constructed, it’s time to act to remain competitive.

The hotel was very clean with helpful staff. Its an old building high ceilings, rooms quite small ok for a short stay. Location is great just across the road from the beach many eating places/ pubs near within a couple of minutes walk. Excellent working wi-fi.

The room was a reasonable size, could have been a bit bigger but it worked well enough.
The proprietor was very friendly and very helpful and found a fan for the room. We did not plan to be there in such a heatwave and on the second night the room was very hot and stifling.
The staff made the stay much better.
The shower was a bit basic and the bathroom a bit small.
A little disappointed with the parking at the hotel. Was unable to park at the hotel, advertised as parking available but very limited spaces, had to park well away from the hotel. Room was clean but cramped, bathroom very restricted i.e. small, but did was it was supposed to do. Was ok for a one night stay but would not astay for more than one night.
Space, parking, felr that breakfast would be tbe same.
The whole experience was brilliant and the man at the reception couldn't have been more helpful.

Only one bedside locker
The position on the sea front was ideal. The proximity to the Manor Gardens and town centre was also great.
This meant we didn’t have to walk far in the heat to find shade on the sea front or beneath trees in the park.
Two tiny things. We have a king size bed at home so our choice of double meant the bed seemed a little narrow.
We will definitely stay again and opt for a twin room.
I was worried about slipping in the spa bath/shower but was totally safe when my husband suggested we used one of the hand towels as a bath mat
