Pros:

Quaint motel near Mesa Verde
Pros:

Pam greeted us and we checked in. She told us of a couple of restaurants for dinner. Our room was quaint and comfortable and handicapped friendly. Breakfast was very good 👍

Room very dated scuffed up walls. No ice!
The heating/cooling unit made the sound of a diesel truck reving its engine in our room.

Pros:

I was given a quiet room location, as requested.

Cons:

Both ice machines were not working. Construction guests parked a big diesel truck in front of the room at 6:15 am. The heater sucked in the fumes!

I will stay here again when I travel between New Mexico and Utah, which I do frequently.
Pros:

Pam, the lady who checked me in and out, was exceptionally friendly, and the breakfast was very good. The room was clean and comfortable. I felt safe. I also love that my good dog was welcomed and the fee was reasonable.

Cons:

The shower door opens away from the shower head instead of by it, and both doors don't open. Consequently, you have to step in to turn on the shower and freeze or burn before getting the right temp. If the door was near the shower head or both doors opened, that wouldn't happen. That said, loved the water pressure of the shower.

Relaxing and enjoyable, with friendly staff.
Pros:

The room was clean and the beds very cofortable. Pam at the front desk was very nice and helpful when the room key wouldn't work. Breakfast in the morning had a lot of choices and was very good. Would stay here again and would recomment it to oters.

Ohne Pam wäre es nicht dasselbe gewesen
Pros:

Am Anreisetag wurde ich von Pam empfangen und habe mich sofort wohl gefühlt durch diesen wirklich liebevollen, sehr persönlichen Kontakt. Das Zimmer war sauber. Das Bad war nett eingerichtet, sogar mit ebenerdiger Dusche. Das Städtchen Cortez hat seine ganz eigene Ausstrahlung. Ich fand es total bezaubernd, die Liebe der Menschen zu ihrem Geschäft / Restaurant / Hotel zu spüren.

Cons:

Frühstück gab es bis 09:30 Uhr. Nach beiden Übernachtungen war ich innerhalb der offiziellen Frühstückszeit da. Was mich sehr gestört hat - noch während ich am Tisch saß und aß, wurden andere Tische / Stühle mit einem scharfen Reinigungsmittel behandelt, dessen Geruch mich aus dem Frühstücksraum vertrieb. Schade.
