La habitacion era muy amplia y cómoda, con sofa y escritorio y vistas con el castillo a lo lejos.
Muy buen desayuno tipo bufet aunque la sala queda un poco pequeña si el hotel está lleno.
La piscina interior no estaba muy limpia o cuidada a pesar de ser un hotel nuevo.
Nos vendieron un tour a la isla de Akdamar, pero se canceló media hora antes de la salida. Además, parece que hay que tener cuidado con esos tours, que algunos son mas bien de fiesta y visitan los monumentos solo de fuera.
Dear Booking.com Customer Service,
We booked [Hotel Name] for two nights but left after the first night because of serious problems at the property. A Booking.com representative confirmed that the unused second night could be refunded if the hotel approved the change. However, despite Booking.com having no objection, the hotel refused to authorize the refund.
Throughout our stay, the Wi-Fi was completely unavailable, despite repeated attempts by the staff to fix it. We were also trapped in the hotel elevator for approximately 15 minutes. My wife suffered a panic attack, while the reception staff responded dismissively and simply told us not to worry because someone would eventually get us out.
The service, safety, and professionalism of the staff fell far below the standards expected from a five-star hotel. Since we left early because of these significant failures and did not use the second night, I ask Booking.com to intervene and arrange a full refund for that night. Please also review the record of my call with your representative and investigate the hotel’s handling of these incidents.

Es liegt sehr nah am Flughafen und ist gleichzeitig sehr zentral gelegen. Rund um das Hotel befinden sich zahlreiche Restaurants und Geschäfte, die bequem zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Auch eine Einkaufspassage ist ganz in der Nähe. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Besonders praktisch ist auch, dass sich unten in der Lobby ein Starbucks befindet.
Das Hotel entspricht nicht dem Standard, den man von einem 5-Sterne-Hotel erwarten würde. Die Ausstattung und auch das Frühstück erinnern eher an ein gutes 3-Sterne-Hotel.
Auch der Reinigungsservice war enttäuschend. Das Personal hat lediglich die Handtücher ausgetauscht sowie Toilettenpapier und Wasser bereitgestellt. Ein ordentliches Aufräumen, wie man es von einem 5-Sterne-Hotel erwarten würde, fand während unseres Aufenthalts nicht statt.
Darüber hinaus befindet sich das Hotel direkt neben einer Moschee, von der bereits gegen 3:00 Uhr morgens der Gebetsruf sehr laut zu hören ist. Dadurch wird man als Tourist leider regelmäßig aus dem Schlaf gerissen.
Zusätzlich werden im Hotel Touren angeboten, die unserer Meinung nach überteuert sind und sich keinesfalls lohnen. Insgesamt entspricht das Hotel daher unserer Meinung nach nicht dem erwarteten 5-Sterne-Standard.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent. I also enjoyed the facilities and the overall atmosphere.

Ein sehr edles Hotel mit schönen großen Zimmern sehr zentral in Van. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfreich. Das Frühstück bietet eine große Auswahl an Leckereien und ist für eine lange Zeit für die Gäste geöffnet.
In unserem Zimmer fehlte die Tür von der Dusche deswegen musste man etwas bedacht duschen um nicht das ganze Badezimmer zu fluten.
Καλή τοποθεσία για να επισκεφτείς το κέντρο με τα πόδια, καλό ξενοδοχείο, ευγενικό προσωπικό, καθώς δεν έχει ιδιαίτερο πάρκινγκ για μηχανές, μας είπαν να τις βάλουμε μπροστά στην είσοδο του ξενοδοχείου ακριβως μπροστά στη ρεσεψιόν για μέγιστη ασφάλεια (ευχαριστούμε!) Ωραία δωμάτια, μεγάλα και καθαρά και πολύ καλό πρωϊνό!
Οταν επισκεφτήκαμε το μέρος γινονταν κάποια έργα γύρω απο το ξενοδοχείο με αποτέλεσμα να έχει σχετική κίνηση, αλλά σε αυτό δεν φταίει το ξενοδοχείο!
