Terrible! Mucho ruido en la noche, no pudimos dormir, la cama muy incómoda y con huecos en las sábanas. No lo recomiendo!!

Most of the people who work here are nice there was one young lady who was awful. I don't recommend this place unless you are in a pinch. It is adequaoclean. All of the amenities are outdated.

First at all it says that is a Resort Casino four stars! It is not a resort and the casino is permanently closed. Its a three, maybe two stars hotel.
The property looks old. The room also very old, barely keep mantainace. No hands towels. Wifi wasn’t working rigth.

Reception lady was unpleasant in general. Made us wear paper wristbands overnight like it was a festival or something. Breakfast was delicious and the breakfast lady was lovely. Area has no attractions, museum is under renovation. No laundry service in town.

Need some renovations, very poor cable TV, air conditioner not working properly, not room cleaning unless you ask for, not hot water and electricity power went off 3 times in 2 days !

Even though the place seems like it has lost the shine of its best years, still is a place that makes people feel at home. Great location right in front of the beach. Staff helpful and friendly.

Great location, staff was very helpful, the breakfast was very good, beachfront and very close to the lighthouse which is a must go in your stay in Puntarenas..

The only thing that maybe need an improvement is the A/C unit in our room, the staff gave us options but because our stay was only for a night, we didn’t see the need for a change…

I recommend this hotel if you’re looking for options in Puntarenas…

Puntarenas ist grundsätzlich nur bedingt eine Reise wert, so ist auch der Zustand des Hotel - der Lack ist ab, überall. Einzig der Pool war groß und sauber.
Die Matratze schlecht, die Ausstattung heruntergekommen. Es war die schlechteste Übernachtung unserer Reise.
Vermutlich nehmen Einheimische daran keinen Anstoss, sie sind froh über eine bezahlbare Unterkunft

My husband and I had a nice relaxing time, especially at the pool. The traditional breakfast was delicious and large portions. Hotel is dated but a decent place, the casino is closed. Entire staff was welcoming and courteous, will stay there again if I go back to Puntarenas (el Puerto).

Nous étions en avance puisque nous arrivons avec le bus. La chambre n'était prête qu'à 14h10. Il faisait super chaud .pas d'espaces pour attendre à part autour de la piscine . La vue de la chambre était magnifique sur l'océan . Chambre grande mais le minimum ... Une grande serviette par personne et pas de tapis de b'douche ou petit essuie main. Pas d'eau chaude ou café dans tout l'hôtel. Merci à la jeune femme du magasin qui nous a fait chauffer de l'eau pour le the' petit déjeuner : personnel très sympa mais nourriture banale .

Firstly, this is NOT a family hotel. We were shocked to see the condition of the room which is beyond description including AC not working, stained bed, extremely dirty and smelly bathrooms and most importantly NOT SAFE AT ALL.! The rooms did not have a proper lock. Most of the things mentioned on the hotel page are incorrect and false information. We had to just book something else in the last minute.
