The hotel was decent enough, and the front desk staff were very nice. Breakfast was.... so, so. There was not much fruit. Minimal choices.

Cons:

This was probably the only property I have come across that did NOT allow for a cancellation. On top of that the charge for my advance reservation was far higher than for those booking that day. I booked this hotel for a nearby event, which was canceled (just a few hours before the event) due to wildfire smoke. I wanted to cancel and keep traveling to get away from the smoke, and was told I could not. I also could not get any of my money back. I will not book this hotel again.

Very disappointing 😞
Pros:

The location was good for going to concerts at Pine Knob and the breakfast was OK

Cons:

Didn't appreciate that since the concert I was planning on attending was canceled 2 hours before it was due to start that the hotel was unwilling to give me some sort of discount on their rates. The microwave also did not work
