Great service, beautiful and spacious rooms and spectacular city views. Everything was perfect .
The view from the balcony is spectacular!
This hotel elevators are a maze. I had to change 3 sets of elevators to get to my 43 floor room! Its ridiculous and confusing. The price for room is ridiculous for a mediocre room!
The building is shared by SAP office goers who frequently stare at you. The restaurant is over priced and mediocre again. Not the Ritz Carlton style at all
El personal y las instalaciones
No están aisladas las habitaciones del exterior y toda la circulación de vehículos no permite dormir . Peor si dan al parque.
Excellent location, exceptional service, comfortable room and great facilities
Lots of elevators
Lovely staff; great location; clean spacious suite;
Had a fabulous driver , Noe , who showed us around and was the quintessential professional and gentleman
Housekeeping very kind and efficient
Food at breakfast (in room) was mediocre. Chia dish was ok.
Weak coffee
Phone broke down . Hassle, but they fixed later
Great location. Amazing views. Very secure. Great people.
Bit silly but when we had room service the salt cellar was empty and the bottom was missing. Tiny little error. Otherwise would be a 10
The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. We particularly appreciate the maître d’s hospitality, Pedro. He was classy and helpful. I like the area where the hotel is situated. It is safe with police always patrolling the area. The dinner at the restaurant is great. I love hanging out at the Cipriani bar for drinks. I would definitely return next year and stay at the Ritz. My overall experience is 9/10.
Architecture
Too expensive
Very comfortable and staff took very good care
The fact that you had to change 2 elevators to get to your room.
I had an amazing time at the Ritz in Mexico City. The staff are all very warm and welcoming. My room included access to the lounge. I would like to give a shout out to Brandon at the lounge. He made the check in and check out process so easy and was always so accommodating and kind.
The room was amazing with a beautiful view of the garden and castle. The hotel is located on Reforma street so it’s in a very convenient location close to top restaurants and attractions.
Overall I’d definitely recommend staying here. While it’s not cheap you definitely feel so welcomed and taken care of. Will be back when I’m in Mexico again!
El servicio fue magnífico. Nos casamos ese fin, mi getting ready fue ahí y tuvieron una atención al detalle espectacular. Genuinamente me sentí magnífico
Las instalaciones son de primera pero el servicio ha sido de lo mas top que he visto.
I paid by using some of my points. Otherwise, I wouldn't pay approx. 1400 USD per night for the experience...
Positives:
- The lady at the reception was very friendly and got us a room with a beautiful view (which was most likely an upgrade, due to Platinum Elite status).
- The view from the room was sensational: a huge window front from floor to ceiling, even the bathroom had a phantastic view, if you use the bathtub, for example.
- Staff was attentive and friendly.
- The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet.
Negatives:
- The hotel does not have a traditional lobby, where you could sit, relax, watch guests, have a drink, meet each other etc. I've seen this at several Ritz-Carltons and Waldorf Astorias and don't like it very much. It gives the atmosphere of a serviced apartment. Accordingly, the entrance at the ground floor is more like an ordinary office building.
- You need to change elevators to get to your room: first, you get to the 38th (?) floor to the reception area, then you change the elevator to get to your room level.
- The room seems a little bit "naked" and the modern look gives an impression of an apartment that is newly built and not yet completely furnished, but this is only a personal opinion.
- Breakfast items need to be ordered, there is no buffet.
- The location is probably not the best for people who want to be in the best area of the city, which is Polanco. You can walk to Polanco (during day time), ot take an Uber, but it would be more comfortable to have the hotel just there. This is not the hotel's fault, of course, and Polanco doesn't come with a large choice of good hotels.
All in all, I would recommend the hotel for the view, just for one or a few nights.
el desayuno normal, la ubicación es buena
el ambiente es completamente desagradable, la gente que circula por el lugar es aterradora, el servicio regular, las habitaciones dicen un metraje pero tienen columnas en medio que quitan visibilidad y comodidad
