Delightful Small Hotel
Pros:

We loved this small hotel! The station and all the Takayama attractions we wanted to see were within walking distance. Our room was spacious, comfortable and quiet. The breakfasts were fantastic - we tried all 3 options, all delicious and filling. The staff went above and beyond - when my husband needed to work in the common area for most of one day, they brought him complimentary drinks, fruit and treats. The front desk is full service - arranging taxis, making restaurant reservations etc. We highly recommend both private consens - a great way to relax after a full day of sightseeing. The reasonably priced washer and dryer were a welcome amenity mid-way through our trip!

Best hotel we’ve stayed in Japan.
Pros:

We stayed in the family suite which was set up perfectly for a family of 4. Plenty of space for the kids to sleep and spread out. My favorite part was the lounge with great jazz music and coffee/teas. I could have spent all day there. Breakfast was delicious with both traditional and western options to choose from. Super helpful staff always sweet and willing to help. The onsite laundry was a huge benefit. Also loved the private onsen bookable for a reasonable price.

Molto carino, caratteristico, vicino alla stazione ma non troppo

Cons:

Non ci sono ascensori, quindi con una valigia pesante diventa complicato. La colazione è buona ma un pò scarsina, e devi sceglierla la sera prima
