Trendy hotel with lovely roof terrace in a great location
The pool was closed even though it was very hot weather! And the service at breakfast was a bit haphazard for the price
Location and size of the room
Die Lage, das Restaurant und die Bar im Erdgeschoss sowie die Dachterrasse. Und natürlich der herzliche Empfang sowie die kompetenten Auskünfte der Frauen an der Reception.
Die einsichtbare Dusche im Doppelzimmer ist gewöhnungsbedürftig. Mehr Ablagefläche für Koffern und Kleidungen wären auch nicht schlecht.

Great location, easy access walking to most things, but metro right in front of hotel for other travel.

Room good size for what we needed, as out all day and only back to get washed and changed then sleep.
Saw other reviews on the shower being open, part glass is frosted other part not, it was ok but down to personal preferences. Toilet separate and closed door, only thing is no vent (needed after husband been in there!)
Don't need shower/toiletries as all there for you, hair dryer was good so fine without taking one.
Would like a kettle to make a cup of tea but again personal preference.
Bed very comfortable, pillows very soft but could maybe do with replacing soon.
Only issue we had and I noticed when we arrived, was the floor had raised up a bit, this then explained why when the shower leaked out of the side. On closer look the wood is rotting around near the door and floor where it has been leaking previously. The hand held shower is rigged hose so does not move around so it faces the side screen and this is what causes the leaking over time. Simple correction would be to change the hose to a flexible one so it can be moved around and this makes it better when trying to hold and wash parts of the body.

The hotel location, the staff and how cute it is inside.
Staff were incredibly friendly and cooperative for me and my family (baby included). The hotel is beautiful and an ideal location, as it was our first time to Madrid. The room was great, but needs a little TLC in some minor areas to bring it back to the high standards of the rest of the hotel - but as a whole, it didn’t impact our stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. We will certainly be back to stay at Ocean Drive, as well as a look into their other locations for future trips.
