Certainly looking else where for our next stay
Pros:

Friendly bar and reception staff on arrival

Cons:

Allocated room was small and no windows despite hotel not being fully booked.
Room was noisy from drains constantly running with water all night
When we called the next day to check for an item of lost property I was put on hold for over 20 minutes. I finally hung up. No one called back despite the fact they had my name, number and previous room number as a reference!! Poor

GREAT STAFF, FANTASTIC BEDROOM!!
Pros:

Dominique and the staff were amazing.
The restaurant and bar are great.
The bedrooms are fantastic, really large, with a kitchen, hob and fridge, very well equipped.

Windows didn't fit and so it was incredibly noisy...Saturday night revellers and car horns and sirens

Good value independent hotel in heart of Leicester
Pros:

Great gem of a hotel. Really helpful staff and breakfast was great too.

Cons:

My only small gripe is that the water from tap at the bathroom did not get hot and took a long while to get lukewarm. The shower and kitchen tap however were fine. The staff were great but there was a flicker of frustration from one staff member as she was in the middle of something as I arrived - although I don’t think she probably is conscious of that so not intentional 🙂

Very average but nice staff
Pros:

The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was good.

Cons:

Very noisy - could hear every step from the room above and music/tv noise through the walls. Fixtures looked tatty and in need of an update. Bed very uncomfortable, too soft and two single mattresses so big gap in the middle.

But weird energy
Pros:

The gym was decent, location decent.

Cons:

The no window, I know it explained there was no window, but it felt creepy, the staff seemed really lacklustre and uninterested, almost like they hated you.
