Clean, cute, great location.
Pros:

Close to the airport. We just needed an overnight stay after getting in late.

Cons:

The parking situation was a little odd. $30 to park and there were no parking spots. I had to park in an electric car charging station( they said it was fine).

Pros:

Location, cleanliness and view (although paid extra for view).

Cons:

The bed could have been more comfortable - a bit firmer. Need more instructions printed on parking pass on how to get out of the garage. Had to go back into hotel to ask how to get the gate to go up. Maybe provide more than 2 bath towels in room. We certainly could have asked for another so more of an inconvenience than anything.

Modern, nice staff, parking cost at manhattan price levels
Pros:

Location is great and I come here for quite some years; lounge area is modern and staff is courteous at the main desk. The Xbox room is a treat for families and the corner rooms are spacious. Price is decent.

Cons:

The room we entered smelled like marihuana so obviously some one smoked in this room; to be honest there should be a strict no marihuana policy as we come here with children. The parking charges are exorbitant 30 USD at discount normally 40 USD; this comes down to 30% of the room charge.

Good value in the heart of downtown Portland
Pros:

Bed was very comfortable. Good value. Very friendly and helpful staff. I liked the vibe.

Cons:

Just go somewhere else for breakfast: breakfast is way overpriced (I accidentally ordered a $6 bagel--kept it because I didn't want the hassle of going back to the desk to quibble, but it was so hard I actually couldn't eat it.)

Great place to stay with an absolutely awesome staff!
Pros:

Aloft is a nice place. The hotel staff are phenomenal and very kind. We loved our room, and the decor was beautiful. It's located rate on Commercial Street, so there are numerous restaurants in the area as well as sightseeing opportunities. We had a few cocktails at the bar, and the bartender was very, very attentive and funny!

Cons:

We had to pay for parking, which we found ridiculous, but the city of Portland Maine seems to think that it's fine. We've traveled widely and never had this happen before, so we were disappointed with that.
