Nice property, good vibe, good area.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. One day I asked Sol what the breakfast times are and the next day when I was at the breakfast she took the initiative to come up to me and chat with me. The other staff members were also very friendly and helpful. I spilled some fruit juice on to the carpet on the floor in my room and the housekeeping team just cleaned the room without complaint.

It is in a very isolated part of cambridge, with an infrequent bus conection to the city centre
Great location close to everything I needed. Onsite parking with EV chargers. Great room with relaxing views over the garden area. General good quality breakfast.

No phone in room, fire alarm went off during night, no explanation or apology from hotel, no evacuation instructions
The choice for breakfast was very good but the hot food was not hot enough.
The only criticism was that signage was not good - difficult to find entrance to the hotel in the dark. Also signage inside the hotel was not good. On our floor there was no indication as to where the lifts were. Finally, no instruction for using the lifts. Never stayed in a hotel where you had to tap your room key inside the lift before selecting the floor you required.
Stayed here on several occasions, always nice. A spacious clean room with comfy beds.

The lobby
We booked a room in the Hyatt and two apartments in the attached Turning Locke. The Hyatt room was modern and well-furnished. The downstairs restaurant served a good breakfast. We also had dinner there for two nights with great service and food. We were attending a nearby wedding, so it was a great location for us.
The hotel is outside Cambridge, which was fine for us. However, if you want to go into Cambridge, you'll need a car or the bus. Parking in Cambridge is quite expensive, but we didn't have trouble finding a space in the multi-story car parks. Parking at the hotel cost GBP 20.00 per 24 hours.
