The staff at this Hyatt are top notch customer service professionals. We feel taken care of from the second we pull up front. Absolutely love the service, cleanliness but especially the integrity of the staff. We have and will return again and again when we are downstate. Thank you, The Smiths
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this property as the recipient of a complimentary stay provided by Resorts World through a FIFA World Cup promotion, and I was thoroughly impressed by the level of hospitality we experienced from beginning to end.
Our check-in experience was seamless and welcoming. The Guest Services representative efficiently confirmed the details of our stay while taking the time to explain the hotel's amenities, including the complimentary breakfast hours in the lounge and how to connect to the Wi-Fi. What stood out most was the representative's genuine warmth and wonderful sense of humor, which immediately made us feel at home.
The Housekeeping team was equally outstanding. One evening, I called to request an additional comforter. A housekeeping attendant arrived promptly with one and, after noticing there were two guests in the room, thoughtfully returned with a second comforter without us having to ask. That level of attentiveness and care did not go unnoticed.
As we were heading downstairs to check out, we were greeted by what appeared to be the Housekeeping Manager, who kindly asked how our stay had been and wanted to ensure we were satisfied with the cleanliness of our room. We were genuinely impressed by this proactive gesture. It demonstrated a commitment to quality and guest satisfaction that extended well beyond simply completing assigned tasks.
I'd also like to recognize the Dining Services team. Throughout breakfast, they were consistently pleasant, hospitable, and attentive. They made sure the food was continuously replenished, tables and common areas remained clean, trash was removed promptly, and the lounge stayed sanitized and inviting. To top it all off, the breakfast was absolutely delicious!
Overall, every department we encountered contributed to a memorable and enjoyable stay. Their professionalism, kindness, attention to detail, and commitment to exceptional guest service were evident throughout our visit.
Thank you to the entire team for making our stay such a wonderful experience. We look forward to visiting again!
Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The front desk staff were rude, spoke down to guests, and made us feel like we were inconveniencing them. Customer service was well below expectations, and the overall lack of professionalism left a negative impression that would make us think twice before staying here again.
Stayed in this hotel for two nights. It was convenient to JFK Airport but was easy enough to access the city, which we did while staying here. The rooms were huge compared to rooms in the city. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was friendly. The hotel is connected to Resorts World. Because of this there are several food options in the hotel which is convenient. The food did seem a bit high but I guess that is the price you pay for convenience. Being close to JFK was important for this trip since we were flying out early the day we left. Should it be important to be near JFK we would definitely stay here again!
The city view room I had was nice! The room were clean. I requested towels and housekeeping delivered in seconds. I would definitely stay again.
The hotel is very beautiful, new , clean . The room is amazing size , comfortable beds , perfectly shower. I loved the gym and my family and I had a good time . I just missed the pool at the hotel . Maybe in the future .
Loved it best night stay ever! So fresh so spacious and so good the water pressure in the shower just devine. Casino downstairs even better!
Great proximity to both airports in NYC
We stayed here for 1 night as it was close to JFK, rather than travelling to Manhattan. Getting to the hotel was relatively easy and cheap via an Uber from the airport terminal. The hotel is large and connected to the Resorts World Casino, and has a very luxury feel, and is evidently very modern and new.
Check-in was quick and easy, and our room was spacious, modern, clean and a large bathroom with luxury walk-in shower. The bed was a King and very comfortable. The hotel does make you pay a resort fee which seems unfair, as its not really a "resort", but you do get credit back that you can spend in the hotel on food and drink.
Getting to Manhattan is also easy, as there is a Subway station close, a short walk or hotel provided shuttle-bus journey across the carpark, and then a roughly 30min subway trip to central Manhattan.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay - there were a number of places to eat and drink within Resorts World, Live Music and a full Casino to passify your time.
Would highly recommend if you are looking for a good quality hotel, with a reasonable price near to JFK.
I will be staying at this hotel every time I come to NYC-Brooklyn. I am a New Yorker and have family still in the area. I visit NY at least once every two months. I love this hotel.
N/A
stayed here after flight cancellation forced me to spend a day in NYC. Despite having the word JFK in the hotel name and also the word Resorts in the hotel name, I got the impression that this hotel is lacking clear connection to either. A bit misleading stay and I probably would not have made the call here especially at the price I paid.
main issue is that the hotel is not very close to the JFK terminals maybe because of construction vs what the map would suggest. a lot of turns/ corners to get to the hotel.
Also, the uber stop is pretty far from the hotel , which made very little sense (why do I have to walk so far to get to the dedicated pickup when the uber drops off passengers in front of the hotel). And the doorman told me it's actually not that big of a deal if I asked the driver to pick up at the hotel but that requires me to call Uber drivers the designated pickup area is not the right pickup area.
the hotel itself did not strike me as Resorts in any sense or have any clear connection to the rest of the resort.
Front desk was crowded and long line. lobby was also small. the room was clean however.
considering the rate was 450+, it just did not make whole lot of sense..
Spaciousness, tidiness, location and courteous staff
I didn't like that I couldn't get an evening checkout without paying for another day
